Gul summoned representatives from the Anti-Defamation League and several other Jewish-American organizations to his room at the Willard Hotel in Washington. There he asked them, in essence, to perpetuate Turkey’s denial of genocide.

The political machinations of the ADL are just becoming more and more disturbing.

Foxman did so much to put the ADL into the public psyche, and now he is destroying it by denying justice for the Armenian dead and quite a few other terrible, self motivated acts that turned the ADL into a bit of a joke.

Kurtzman notes that Foxman screams day and night about Christian anti-Semites in the U.S., in total obliviousness to what is really happening: “While Christian groups can’t get the ornaments of Christianity placed on government buildings, Chabad [an Hasidic Jewish organization] has succeeded in publicly erecting enormous gaudy menorahs throughout the country.”

“He has resorted to scaremongering to fill its [the ADL’s] coffers.” Further, “Foxman claims that today the Jewish people face as great a threat to their safety and security as they did in the 1930s. It is still 1939. It will always be 1939.”

By perpetuating the denial of Armenian justice, the ADL shows itself to be a self motivated, hypocritical organisation. Interested only in oppression if it involves Jewish people.

Foxman is destroying an organisation that should be dedicated to justice for all oppressed people, be they Jew or Gentile.
