I am of the feeling that both the underlying structure of the great pyramid, and the sphinx, were built by a previous civilization of man...lost to history, and slightly less advanced than the Egyptians who came after.

The Egyptians then added on to the great pyramid, and constructed the others, as well as carved the pharoahs' images onto the sphinx, cutting away the original lion head.

The original pyramid and sphinx were likely for temple purposes... As they were, they made a great base for the elaborate tomb ideas of the pharoahs, and they then changed their purpose to a tomb.

To answer some questions...

1. Human hair was found INSIDE atleast one block of the great pyramid.
A: Numerous explanations for this, either it was in the sediment when it became stone, or there when the stone was split, fell in the powdered mortar, etc.

2. In order to build the pyramid in 26 years of Kufu (or however you spell it) The 20 ton stones would have to be cut, transported, and placed at a rate of 1 every 2 minutes, that is EVERY minute of thoes 26 years, not just the construction phase.
A: You're forgetting the manpower of thousands of slaves...they were likely placing blocks at a rate of 3 every minute or more as different groups of slaves were at it... Not to mention, if building off of an existing, smaller pyramid, this drastically reduces the time (and explains why the others are smaller, as they had no base already existing)

3. As far as I know, there is NO hyroglyphics of them building the pyramids.
A: There are but mostly of the quarrying, and there are papyrus texts that make mention of it, but no definite codex... Still, the construction evidence is there...

4. The hyroglyphics of the helicopters, gliders, blimps ufos.
A: These could also be stylized birds, etc. and are also various Egyptian symbols....likely by either untrained (cheap) scribes, or those who just had to be a little different....

NetStorm, those two links illustrate my point rather nicely, though I'm not sure if that was your intention or not. Aside from being steppe pyramids, I really don't see all that much similarity between the two.

Also, the first link is actually Teotihuacan and was already a ruin by the time of the Aztecs.
