American forces are tracking about 50 members of an elite Iranian force who have crossed the border into southern Iraq to train Shiite militia fighters, a top U.S. general said Sunday.

So, first it's: Iraq has EFP factories... then it's: Iran is giving them EFPs; to Iraq has factories but is being supplied by Iran. What's the truth?

Why did we believe Iraq was sophisticated enough to have WMDs but is completely incapable of being able to produce their own EFPs?

The two links above discuss EFPs being made in Iraq, but offers nothing about importing parts from Iran.
