tony snow to resign

white house spokesman tony snow has announced he will resign due to financial reasons.

"I've already made it clear I'm not going to be able to go the distance, but that's primarily for financial reasons," he said.

"I've told people when my money runs out, then I've got to go."

snow has only had the job since april 2006 and is the latest of a string of pople to bail out of the white house recently.

is it a case of rats leaving a sinking ship or do they have another plan?

i think that it sucks that the man had to take a pay cut when going from news anchor to working for the whitehouse....that's sad

but anyway, i dont know ive never really had a problem with snow. seems like a nice enough guy. he probably just has some financial issues he needs to take care of because there is a good chance he could die from his colon cancer. i imagine this sort of job would be highly stressful while dealing with cancer.
