This is too funny. Why in the world would someone want to name their baby the @ symbol?? What would you call the baby , At?

Why are parents so stupid today... names like Apple and now @.

Why don't they just name them after what the artist Prince used to call himself before he was originally Prince?

What's wrong with naming your baby @? You also have to take into consideration what the rest of the name would be.

@ Li Hung sounds pretty cool to me.

Sure its not silly to name your child @! How about Ctl+Alt+Del for that matter or maybe Esc. If there was a law for stupid these parents would be in jail for a long time.

reminds me of the family in new zealand who wanted to name their child

4 real,

last time i checked they were going through the courts because the local mayer office or something is blocking it as the name starts with 4 and is not alphabetical

That's even sillier than "Apple"...

But whatever floats your boat, I guess...

'Course, I have a freind who's last name is Cheek, he and his wife were going to name their daughter "Rosey". Apparently, both sets of grandparents were less than thrilled...

4 real has now officially been named Superman as that is allowed.

Go figure!

Read on the bbc that it's a lot easier to give your kid a stupid name in the UK because of the laws. Calling the kid @ seems to be jumping on the bandwagon a little.

Apple is a really sweet name for a little girl - or a big girl for that matter - I have taught quite a few Apples. Mind you the worst name I've come across in Hong Kong was Malfoy, like the bad boy from Harry Potter, but strangly enough it really suited this kid as he was a snotty little pratt as well!
