Comicbook (work in progress)

So, me and a friend have recently started working on a comic book/web comic together in our spare time. It's originally based off of a dream he had that i thought would make an awesome comic book. It's still in it's early stages, we have been mostly focusing on the story, working out kinks and whatnot in the plot. I only have a few sketches, but most of the overall story is complete as well as character bios.

Quick(and i mean quick) summary
Story goes like this, a long long time ago (not too for sure how long yet), there was a civilization of people like us but more advanced (thats a theory i know, but i cant think of the name). Anyway, they got word of a incoming asteroid that will potentially wipe out most of man. in response to this, they build a massive underground city that can support life for ages. so the comet hits, most everyone dies, but years and years pass and things change and evolve and we are now in modern day. which is where our characters live. eventually modern day gets word of the same doom, but we dont really do anything about it, and it comes killing pretty much everyone(only a few thousand survive). Before it happens though, our characters go into cryogenic sleep and sleep underground for 5 years(they sleep through the Armageddon). when they awake, they find a desolate wasteland. small societies are scattered across the world. apparently, they find out when the comet hit, it opened the gate to the underground city built billions of years ago. the people who lived in the city have evolved into monstrous creatures and now threaten life above ground. Which is where our characters come in to fight against these monsters.

Character Bios

Name: Atticus Winsday
Age: 18
Bio: Shy and reserved. comes from a mostly normal family in the suburbs. Doesn't make friends easily and keeps to himself.

Name:Cera Cecil
Age:19
Bio: makes lemonade out of lemons. very open-minded but tends to have a dark side every now and then. She always strives to be different and not "fit in with the crowd". Lives with her abusive father in a rundown apartment in the city.

Name: Shylo Kilwulf
Age: 21
Bio: Typical Jerk. very suave but still maintains a "don't f with me" attitude. strong. His father died when he was young and lives with his mother in the suburb. Really close with his mother.

Name: Gage Geers
Age:19
Bio: Physically strong. Often plays sports. Good people skills. Lives with his parents in the city. His father is a military lieutenant and keep him "well rounded".

Stop doing sketches and do it as you go along the story will come as you draw in the boxes and forget about the looks too much, they can get a new costume any time. I spent too much time designing and not enough on what they did and in the end they did nothing.

Work on this has slowed a little since I started school, but your encouragement has inspired me start back up.
