there is a sudden rush of stories coming out about wikipedia and their 'edits' and some bright spark has got a site up and running now where you can search for edits and find where they are coming from (ie company plus ip address). so those anonymous edits aren't so anonymous anymore!

it will come as no surprise to some to see who is actually doing some of the editing but the question remains what will wikipedia's reaction be to the criticism.

Probably nothing as I believe for the Chris Benoit thing there was a IP address from Stanford Connecticut. I believe the dude was from somewhere else and has been doing that for other entries. Not saying fon news wouldn't edit something on wikipedia but people can add stuff and spoof their IP to make it so that they can be from anywhere.
