Torries new proposal on forced marrige

The Conservatives have outlined proposals aimed at cracking down on forced marriages. One is that anyone planning to marry outside the country should register their intentions - and the name of their fiance - before leaving the UK.

Apparently there is nearly 1'000 forced marriges every year.

I think it should be gottain rid of, its up too the two people if they get marryed or not.

I don't think anyone should be coerced into anything they don't want to do.

But I'm pretty sure that there are umteen existing UK laws which cover this pretty well already which has me wondering just what the point of this is?
