Russia said flying more missions near U.S. territory

From one American citizen's perspective, I'm glad Russia has been drawing controversial attention to themselves here lately with all this flying around buzzing other nations' airspace.

Bush has tried really hard to maintain friendly relations with Putin, taking him out on his Father's yahct and pampering him, coddling Putin's insecurities about missle defense, etc. But I don't really think Putin is the "buddy" that Bush tries to treat him as.

I think it's a good thing if the U.S. were to be more aware of Russia as an "unpredictable" friend, and all these flyby's and buzz's will contribute toward that I think so that's why I'm glad Russia is drawing more attention to themselves lately.
