keyboard help please

My keyboard quit working, so I am using on screen keyboard. I am currently shopping for a keyboard that has the connection similar to a laser mouse, you just plug it in the front ports on my computer and there are no wireless receivers or cords of any kind. Does such a keyboard exist?

I am currently trying to do searches, but all I can find is the ones with receivers. I have a pc with windows XP. TIA
