I'm alittle bothered by your ideas but accept them as equal toi mine in the light that I would die just for the privilage you enjoy in dissagreeing with me.

Didn't know if you had any factual evidence to support your claim on minimum wage.

Small business owners who would be forced to pay their min. wage employees more would bear the brunt of the hike, and then be forced to pass it on to consumers. People would lose jobs.

good for you so have many of my family members.....do you deserve more than me because you are willing to fight on command.

we pay the brunt of every movement in the economy......we are use to it, we would survive.

Nope, however (and not just because I have served) I think people who have served in their country's respective armed services branches should be afforded some sort of reward, maybe a tax credit every year or something along those lines.

It is the absolute least we can do.

I agree the service provided does not reflect the pay earned. My sister married military and I cant beleive some of the stories she tells of people struggling just to make it by....its appalling how we reward our warriors.

Which is exactly why we should stop spending so much on unconstitutional social programs and foreign aid and take care of our defenders first.

I know I am now technically considered white ... but, at the turn of the 20th century, my people (Italian-Americans) were considered non-white, and low on the social status.

Yes, you are racist, it isn't political correctness ... it is respecting your fellow human being. RESPECT, dignity, honor, love ... this is what is lacking in society ... replaces by hate, greed, ego, lack of morals. It is sad that people just can't get reality.

To think, the country based on immigrants that claimed manifest destiny to steal land from the native people who owned it ... complain about people immigrating and working jobs in the society they themselves stole by blood.

I think it is a sick state of the world, and the way they can trick so many into wars and divide people from each other.

While I appreciate your sentiment. One of the concerns for me about illegal immigration is the value system they have.

Quite frankly, I don't want my child going to school with groups of people who devalue women, treat them as servants, abuse them, and there is nothing women can do about it.


Our country has come too far to give a backwards slide to a culture that doesn't even value it's own.


Do you really think that the illegal immigrants are sitting around saying"well, I am just going to break this one law and that is it?" If they have such a disregard for that law, then they are going to have a disregard most laws. Our way of life, even our safety. Not only did they jump the border, but they didn't get the required screening and vaccinations to prevent communicable diseases.
so they very people the live off of, they deliberately put at risk.

Yes,most people here are a result of immigrants. But my great grandfather didn't go through the degrading process of having his head searched for lice on a boat to have a better life for his family, legally, to have someone so disregard the country he came to be a part of, not to take advantage of.
