Hey there guys.
I think you would be interested in this.
I've personally noticed a lot more newspaper coverage to do with the UFO phenomenon in the past week or two.
You have had papers such as the Metro reporting on the Staford sightings.
The daily mail running in first place, it's done a Roswell two page article, and two about the MOD releasing its UFO Documents.
And on their websites.. I'm deffinatly seeing something very interesting at work here.

Here are some links from the daily mailwww.d... ailymail.co.uk/pages/dmsearch/overture.html?in_page_id=711&in_overture_ua=cat&in_start_number=0&in_query=ufo&siteOr=.

And a local report from them:
09:00 - 01 August 2007
Strange things have been spotted in the skies above Swansea, a secret file has revealed.Bosses at the Ministry of Defence have opened their own X files on UFO sightings to the public for the first time.

Details released under the Freedom of Information Act show that five UFO sightings have been reported in the city and across South Wales over the past decade.
On February 9, 2005, a witness told the MoD about a UFO they reported seeing at Rhossili Bay, a "bright object that was travelling at high speed, horizontally - west to east, which looked like marble".
In 2001, two UFO sightings were recorded in Llanelli and Port Talbot. The first was a "large, disc shaped object, black in colour, which then changed to oval shape".
The second sighting described "two large, shining golf ball-like objects, moving in and out of the clouds".
A further two UFO sightings were recorded in 1999, including one in Swansea on February 4, said to be a "triangle shape, like an inverted ice cream cone".
Another apparent sighting was reported to the Evening Post by Neath man Mike Davies.
He was left absolutely baffled after filming two extraordinary bright lights in the night sky, flanked by smaller flashing lights, above his Rhodfa Bevan home.
He said: "I told some friends and they joked that I was going to be taken away by men in white coats.
"But after seeing it (the footage) they changed their minds."
Every year more than 100 UFO sightings are reported to the MoD.
Although it doesn't have any UFO expertise, it has to investigate every sighting.
An MoD spokesman told the Post: "The MoD examines reports solely to establish whether UK airspace may have been compromised by hostile or unauthorised military activity.
"If required, sighting reports are examined with the assistance of the department's air defence experts.
"Unless there is evidence of a potential threat, there is no attempt to identify the nature of each sighting reported."
But correspondence between the MoD and members of the public who report sightings of strange objects revealed that Whitehall officials remain totally open-minded about the existence of UFOs.
But the MoD spokesman added: "To date, the MOD knows of no evidence which substantiates the existence of these alleged phenomena."
The new information comes as the MoD prepares to publish its UFO files dating back to 1967.
The move follows the decision by the French national space agency to release its UFO files in March, the first official body in the world to do so.
The files are expected to be published before the end of the year and will include details of a famous sighting at Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk, in 1980, which has been dubbed Britain's Roswell after the famous alleged alien sighting in America in 1947.

Is anyone else seeing the same kind of thing??

its just a whitewash, no better than the project bluebook really? Its just saying a few people saw something, we dont know what it is (but we're not saying its aliens either!) Its just to appease the public, now they cant say they never investigate this stuff!
Anyone who believes this is any sort of 'disclosure' is falling right into their trap IMHO

Thanks for the report

I've seen a lot of reports from the UK media recently. I'm a little confused as to how the MoD is releasing their files. File by file or all at once... does anyone know?

It would be nice to see some mention of it here in the US (especially since I'm British -- now a Naturalized US Citizen). But I think it would probably take a big release to actually wake up the media over here; a steady release probably wouldn't do it. And even then the US opinion of other country reporting UFOs isn't too terribly favorable.

I would imagine they would do it all at once, they were contaminated with asbestos and originally were going to be destroyed, but of course ufologists went crazy and stopped that.
If they have finished cleaning them, i see no reason not to do them all at once.

But isn't it still a very good thing that this is getting so much paper attention, in the daily mail, metro. I believe the BBC (breakfast) had something about UFOs on there schedule today, however I shall have to look into that.
