The one I get all the time is "How does wasting your time on this make your life better?". Its like people are ONLY motivated by stuff that makes their own lifes better.

And thats not the exception, its the norm. Buckle your seat belts, because when people start to accept anything as long as they get their entertainment fix on the tube, there really is no limit to what can happen to society.

About dumbing down, well, its more that students arent motivated to learn because there are so many other things they would rather do. Im pretty sure the quality of books could be the best in the world, and we would still get the same results. People have become used to everything being so convenient, which makes them (us) lazy as hell.

Oh, absolutely. Built-in obsolescence, hyping of celebrities who never actually did anything, even advertising... it's all just an attempt to make the general population earn other members of the population more money. Sometimes I wonder if all the magazines, comics, puzzle books and tabloid newspapers near the checkouts of markets aren't attempts to distract us form the real news.

I think a good point to bring up would be the fact that the American school system has abolished real learning.

Today students don't learn because they find it worthwhile or read because its enlightening, these so called ''smart kids'' only do it because in their brainwashed eyes the only way to lead a happy life in the future is by getting good grades and then in turn getting into a great college.

It all leads back into materialism i guess, the so called ''smartest'' of us tend to be in my opinion the most ignorant.

Of course they are. All you have to do to avoid it is: realize it, and not fear. Aslo, get information, about anything, from a secure, proven, non gov source. All women care about these days are their boob status, make-up, etc. All most men care about are their paychecks, houses, wives, cars, etc. The material world, and the big lie that, it is what is most important, will end soon enough. Have no worries because god will straighten things out, and his judgment is ultimate, final.

I saw this Bipolar commercial today. The drug that was supposed to take care of it, well, was a shocker. The potential side effects were completely insane. I couldn't imagine why I would want to take such a thing? I'm talking potential "permanent" problems because of it's use.

Someone(s) wants this population in a subdued condition. Maybe worse? And they want our kids drugged. And the drug dealing starts as early as the time a child starts school, maybe even sooner.

Incredible. I myself have seen a commercial for a "non-drowsy" drug... most common side effect, are you ready? DROWSINESS..... Freaking unreal! Medicine today is part of the big lie, I myself take no medicine. I used to be on adderall as of two days ago. I tried a 1 month supply just to see if it would help my concentration, it used to be poor, but as of lately, it has been fantastic. I think some medicine is ok if used properly, but most of it is just junk that will make you bleed out of your ass uncontrollably. Lunesta I have also taken to fall asleep, It worked well with no side effects. Pretty much only two things I have taken, lunesta once, and adderall I'm off because of military. I don't see myself taking anything anymore.

The ninja, and others, who were spiritually enlightened had the power to heal, like jesus, this is no fib. I have tried some of the meditation techniques, in my study of the ninja (quest to become), and my back/neck feels incredible! Real medicine comes from the mind (within, your chi), and how you take care of your body. Fast food, junk programing, and other crap society fills into peoples heads, cause most sickness, and none of them have been taught how to really cure it. Sad, why have a population of dying/sick people and make fake/hardly effective medicine for them? Oh ya, CONTROL! Don't live too long, we need your death tax, don't be too healthy, we need to take the money from insurance companies/hospitals.

Its not off topic, if you ask me, its right on. Medicine is a big factor in how america, and people across the world, are being dumbed down. Schizo and other physo conditions are thought of "not normal" when its just a diffrent way of thinking, sometimes, more effective. Some of the smartest people this planet has seen were schizo, but the big wheel classifies them as a danger to society. They are though, because they can and usually have tried to explain/destroy/expose it, of course they end up in homes in white coats. Sad.

I luckily never got put on any drugs. I guess I'm glad to be out of the school system.

Legalilzed drug pushing has been happening more so recently in schools. It's being pushed pretty hard. I know, I have two young nephews with bull's eyes on them from the school psych dept.

In my school, I haven't learned a single new thing in maths ever since I arrived in the US on late September. (And whoever thought it was a good idea to put me in pre-algebra this year is clearly out to torture me. Okay, maybe they're not..) Out of my entire school, there's few students who can make it past the first line in Crime and Punishment. Actually, there's a lot of people I know who can hardly even understand the first line, which I find sad. Not to mention, loads of people expect everything to have a simple explanation and to have everything laid out for them. When I confront people about the problems in the world, they think that everything is either hopeless, or will be sorted out in the future by itself. What's caused these ideologies?

That may be true but keep in mind that alot of these ''fun'' things you mentioned are exactly what the goverment wants you to think is fun.

Lot of interesting notions about this subject. Most are probably on track with truth. Its difficult to establish a premise about anything that is not in line with "conventional" (ie. brainwashed) thinking in America these days because how do you verify whats true or false in a world educated by lies?

Most of my family and friends think I'm nuts if I talk about the possibility that there is a tenth planet and humans were engineered by the Annunaki, who came from that planet (called Nibiru or Planet X). How do I even trust that what I have come to believe is true when there isn't sufficient evidence short of going to Iraq, reading the Sumerian cuniforms and proving it to myself. And even if I could do that, who would believe that what I read is what is actually said on the cuniforms?

I come to the conclusion that I don't "know" anything. I can have many ideas of what is true or false... but today's culture is about consumerism and paying their bills. People are too busy to care even about what is best for them. TV raises our children and much of the music kids listen to today subtly erases whatever values of right and wrong they possess.

Ihave felt this too. I have become very much a sceptic of the world around me because of this.

As a High School Student, i find it wierd that almost EVERYTHING I know about the goverment/legal system/ pretty much the whole world is from some form of entertainment mostly TV.

Very scary and sad.

In the first 3 minutes, all rights are revoked, and it shows practically an entire village being hanged, including a child who started singing at the gallows.

I turned that crap off, and you all should do the same. It's a terrible shame to such a great series, because I cant explain to my nephew why the kid was being hung simply for knowing someone who was a pirate.

Desensitizing, and truly monstrous.

Hello all, Just had to respond to this thread.

I live up here in the great white north. Aka Canada, and in truth the same problem is prevalant here. I am 32 yrs old, and in that time. I have seen the ability to read and write. Do mathematics etc. Go right down the old crapper.

I live with my GF and her kids, and the things I take for granted, they can not even do. Simple math and spelling are beyond them. Certain concepts we all understand are beyond there reasoing. Yet they pass every grade and just keep going.

And it is not just the skill level, it is total apathy in the workplace, no one wants to do a good job anymore. No one cares. Customer service is gone, It is all about how fast and how much the company can screw every penny out of you.

It is so blantently obvious that the are breaking the law, and breaking contracts. But no one ever pursues them.

No one cares and we all just accept it and move on. It is a sad state of affairs.

Just my two cents.

We all know the masses are victims of the "dumbing down" system the government and the secret societies have forced upon them. The 3,500 of us who visit the site and at least 7,000 ( I hope higher!!!) who do not visit or have even heard of this site knows about the "dumb down" that America lives by. We are the rare breed and the bad news is that I have seen and experienced how hard, almost impossible it is to awaken the deaf, dumb and blind that the masses are. Just look at how repetitive News are and how they all broadcast the same thing (Repetition is one ingredient for mind control), how News never touch on these hundreds of conspiracy FACTS that we know (Governments control Media) look at how the media dictates what music or fashion is hot and lame. What movies are good or bad. And how the public just accept what they say because it is the "expert" who said it. America is full of bull# and the only thing we can do is to keep spreading the knowledge so that for every 1,000 who ignore it at least 10 will accept it and they will spread the knowledge. Sooner or later... 1,000 people cant be fooled by the government and hopefully the number increases.

Now... another thing, notice how in History the ELITE have made decisions and created wars without any regards to the citizen's feelings or values. The masses have been slaves since ELOHIM created Adam and Eve. The powerful have controlled the world since the beginning and the masses have been controlled since the beginning. How can a small group of people control vast populations? Through military control (even though the soldiers could rebel if they realized how THEY too... are slaves) via Education that teaches the masses how inferior they are to the rulers and how they need rulers. Education that lies about history and Religion which causes terrorism and fear so the masses can hold on to a fabricated belief system and be encouraged to become slaves. And many others...

Third thing, America enslaves those who live here? Yes. America may be the most corrupted country in the world and its people may be very ignorant indeed. But let me take out to the world. The world is not only America. Let me take you to my homeland, beautiful country of Brazil!
Yes Brazil! Brazil may have one of the most brainwashed, ignorant and most robotic people I've known... Brazilians, but in contrast, the most alert people because we are born knowing Brazil is corrupt. Americans hate to admit America is corrupt and evil and they hate to question the government. Brazilians love to do the opposite of Americans. Most latinos are aware of political corruption since we are major victims of it. but....... Brazilians are more misled in a way due to how powerful Catholic Religion has a grip on the people... Brazilians are very mystical and I see how religion enslaves my people. Although television in Brazil (unlike here) exposes Brazilian and AMERICAN political corruption the people are slaves due to their exposure to TV. brazilians depend on TV for many lies. The biggest factors in Brazilian corruption unlike here is how the majority are miserably poor... Most are broke and therefore they are so poor they do not have much access to the things we take for granted such as hot showers and AC. The food is less poisoned, the country is more beautiful but Brazilians lose to Americans when it comes to education. MOst people do not have access to college and colleges are not so happy to have black or brown students (which most of Brazil consists of).... An educated mass would overthrow the government. But Americans lose to Brazilians because middle school and high education in BRazil is two or 3 grades higher! YES! believe it or not... Medicine too... CUba and Brazil surpass America in the medical field. IT goes to show how Americans are controlled by those who control medicine and education. Brazilians are in a way more slaves for many more reasons... Write your responses!

I'd like to know where you guys live. Some of the quotes from people you know are shocking because of their stupidity. It's absolutely amazing.

Where I live, I look around, and while the kids around me aren't exactly whiz kids, they are smart. I mean yeah they don't talk about politics most of the time and such, mostly about their lives, dateing, or what they bought.

Yet, when a political disscussion is brought to the table, I see even the most unconcerned people give some really good input. From what I've observed, majority of the people around me don't trust the goverment at all. We all HATE FEMA over here after what they did to us (I live in Louisiana, near the coast. Katrina was a beast).

Everyday around me I see my peers fight back raceism and other such things. And when they are informed of political matters of the world, they express opinions that are not to far from what you guys disscuss here.

Lookst like not all of America is stupid.

Most of you whine like babys. I don't want to argue it dosen't fit my taste of clothing. But neither do i not feel that being personae non gratae is something to be feared by me.

So lets get down to some fact.

each 10 years the total intellectual gains for the avrage populus rise by 3-9%. So stated by the Swedish and American scientists which the Swedes being the ones having the longest and largest investigation involving this. Over 60 years and around 5000 peoples.

The avrage person with an IQ of 100 gains each year, lets say he/she evolves accordingly to this, an extra of 3 to 9 points of IQ. so... only this makes an amazing possibility for mankind, especially the avrage person of mankind. So "only" after 20 years a person have gained an extra 6-18 IQ which gives a avrage person the same intellect as s university student.

But I agree that the medias and the elites that want us to be dumb are a threath to us. Actually they makes the world alot more dangerous and they are the ones who makes USA and other nations very very... well stupid - well okey I choose another expression then: Uninteresting and unseen.

But please have abit of salt at your disposal because this increase in IQ must be normalized in someway. I guess that they use an nation IQ-pool which is increased and not increased for the individual person alone. I've not read this indepth I've just heard it and read some articels about it.
