Did President Eisenhower Meet With Aliens?

The story about Eisenhower's February 1954 trip to Palm Springs for a winter holiday, and his subsequent late Saturday night disappearance, has fueled rumors that Eisenhower traveled to nearby Edwards Air Force Base to meet with aliens. One of the best recounting of this rumor was done by William Moore a prominent California researcher who traveled to the Eisenhower Library to do research and actually interviewed the wife of one of the key witnesses to the story.

Now consider the facts:

> President Eisenhower made a trip to Palm Springs between February 17th and 24th, 1954.

> On February 20th, evening, he did ‘disappear’!

> When members of the press learned learnt about this, rumors flew thick and fast that he had either died or was seriously ill. The story was censored immediately before getting into the press.

>

To quell the fuss, White House Press Secretary James Haggerty called an urgent late evening press conference to announce "solemnly" that the president had been enjoying fried chicken earlier that evening, had knocked a cap off a tooth, and had been taken to a local dentist for treatment.

> But how come the dentist’s widow was curiously unable to recall any specifics about this? Not even the time of day it had occurred. An event like this would have been etched in her memory for life! So was this a cover story? Rather ham-handed, I should say! Even the Eisenhower Library has no record of this.
But citing the U.S. surgeon general's records on Ike's medical and dental history, opened to researchers in 1991, Mixson, then dental historian and professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, reported that on Feb 20, 1954, Ike “chipped the porcelain cap of his ‘upper left central incisor’ and it was repaired by Dr. Francis A. Purcell.”

But as it usually happens, Purcell is unavailable for comment. Why? He died in 1974! Meaning anyone can say anything after a prime witness is dead and gone!

> Though the Palm Springs trip was billed as a holiday, the trip appears to have materialized pretty suddenly.

> More intriguing was the fact that Ike had just returned from a quail shooting vacation in Georgia before leaving for Palm Springs. Two sets of holidays within a week?

So did something unusual occur February 20, 1954.

Whether it was a trip to the dentist, a trip to see flying saucers, a meeting with aliens or something altogether different and unrelated, no one can say. It's the stuff rumors are made of.

And then there is the paper, Eisenhower’s 1954 Meeting With Extraterrestrials, by Michael E. Salla, PhD.

This paper explores the evidence that the First Contact meeting had occurred with extraterrestrials with a distinctive ‘Nordic’ appearance, the likelihood of an agreement having been spurned with this ‘Nordic race’, the start of a series of meetings that led to a treaty eventually being signed with a different extraterrestrial race dubbed the ‘Greys’, and the motivations of the different extraterrestrial races involved in these treaty discussions.
Here..

So what do you think of all this?

I find it quite interesting that Mr Salla, despite knowing absolutely nothing of the event, seem to know everything that happened in great detail.

This history is connected in my opinion somehow to any of these thoughts concerning Eisenhower. Eisenhower was voted in as a popular President, but in this world, many things were also going on at the same time.

This is going to take a while to read. There is a page also on Ike (Eisenhower) but this is the era that may have started it all. Before perhaps with UFO stories, what there were only two (Roswell and K. Arnold - sightings if the name is correct) but this era of history along with the Korean War and everything else going on is maybe worth reading before dealing into whether a President would meet an extraterrestrial or not. In my opinion it may have also been a start of the disinfo era also.
