God who? of the Bible? Yahweh? the I AM burning bush God? Yeah sure he exists, he's just 1 being of many ancient beings. But that being isnt omnipotent, omniscient or omni present.. that supreme ''God'' people are trying to imagine.. is THE ALL.. everything that exists and doesnt exist yet.. we can lose count of all the little ''gods'' in it.

THE ALL cannot come down into the garden of eden.. and walk 'in the cool of day' ...all throughout the Bible we see ''God'' is LIMITED.

I wont bother listing them il be here all day.

So it depends what your definition of God is. Where did the word GOD come from? what was the real word for GOD in the hebrew ? Elohim. Which some say Eloheem.. as plural.. and so this Yahweh being could be 1 of a group of beings.

''let US make man in OUR image and after OUR likeness'' ...??????????

or was God a skitzophrenic?

You see.. science requires for things to be researched and proven. That's complex, making things up is not.

How convenient it is that 'there is no physical proof and probably never will be' of god... But you know what that (lack of evidence) might also indicate, right?

being put in the position of wanting proof of God, is delusional.

somehow harsh to say, I mean, God is everywhere, in all living things. Like consciousness is in all living things. But he can't be seen? just like consciousness, is it consciousness God is?

Yeah, I'm pretty tired of people using this as an excuse for people to beleive in God whether they know it or not. It's not the first time I've heard this before.

Sorry, but I try my best to have good grammer and spelling. "God" is a name. Whether you beleive in him or not, today, everyone knows who he is, and i'ts a name. That's why I capitalize the first letter.

PROOF OF HEAVEN, AND GOD

Go outside on a clear night, look up, you are now looking into The Heavens. That is solid visual proof that Heaven exists. So if Heaven exists, why not God?

It is said God = Magnetism.

Magnetism is the force that holds everything together. It holds all of the elements together to make things. For instance water, aka H2O. Two hydrogen and one oxygen are held together by magnetism to make
water. Magnetism is in EVERYTHING. I mean it, EVERYTHING. Without magnetism, nothing would exist. Not the Heavens, not Earth, not Us, not electricity (which is just magnets), not light, nothing.

Magnetism is our God. A force you can't see, but you can experience it, and feel it, and it is EVERYWHERE.

Good day, hope that proof doesn't hit to hard.

What is science?
It's the study of some laws.

What is religion?
One of the most important properties which are not addressed by science is "Free Will". I believe that I have free will. I can choose my action at will. Yes, my decisions do get affected by other things but my free will has a definite role. This question is addressed by religion. Religion is the science of 'Free Will'

Why science avoid "Concept of Free will"?
The concepts like 'Free will' cannot be proved using any particle/energy interactions. These concepts can be understood only by observing consiousness directly.

Fish: What are u doing man?
Man: I am drinking water.

Fish: I also want to drink some.

And being in the position of saying that god exists is not delusional how? Because it's your belief?

delusion

noun
1. an erroneous belief that is held in the face of evidence to the contrary

The way I see it, we can never know for certain, until we die(or supposedly) go to heaven if god really exists. You can believe in an explosion of nothing that created everything, how do we know this for certain, we dont, but we can believe whatever we believe

The problem that apparently everyone has is the definition of God. If you define God as a collective intelligence that exists both inside and outside this reality, then you will find support for God in quantum theory. Study the latest discoveries in quantum lattice theory and near death experiences for people in cardiac arrest and zero brain activity and then tell me that this is all a meaningless exercise.

I believe Science over Religion simply because I have seen countless Scientific miracles and 0 Religious miracles. So that means I believe we Evolved rather than just being placed here by someone or something magnificent.

Someone in this thread said to look around me and i will see what god created. Ok well i'm on a computer that a human created, im sitting at a desk a machine created which the machine was created by man. Until I see God or meet God, if it/he/she exists than i will believe, but i'm not holding my breath.

Can someone disprove that God is magnetism? I would really like to see someone try. According to every place I read, "God is the creator and ruler of the universe." Well, magnetism is the creator of the universe, and so its safe to say it is the ruler as well. Humans were created "in God's image", well if magnetisim is what holds our body together then yes, humans were created in God's image.

It is the answer, and I would like to see why it is not the answer, someone please debunk me.

Because I really don't wanna believe at one time there was nothing,
100 billion years later there was something.

Almost as ludicrous as "God", except, not as much.

your right it is ludicrous however to me it sounds more reasonable
than science saying materials were always there.
Oh, you won't prove the big bang theory, and you can't prove God.
However to some people God sounds more reasonable.
I don't understand why some people don't get that, and try to turn
everyone into atheists. No matter what you say I will believe in God.

You don't like it? I won't stop believing, thats it there is nothing more.

If it's such an easy concept, then why don't you believe in it? I don't understand why people treat science and God as opposites. Science certainly has never disproved the existence of God. If anything, it's made it easier to accept God as a reality, at least for me.

Take a few courses in philosophy, specifically religious philosophy and then tell me God is not complex.

Yes, it's convenient for atheists like yourself because you need that kind of physical proof in order to believe in something. However, I don't. Truly believing in God also requires things to be researched and proven, at least for me. I don't just take things as truth based on nothing. I believe in God because all my contemplation and thought on the matter as led me to believe that God existing is a much more likely scenario than God not existing.

GOD God god...
all that aside... God isnt a name its a lame little TITLE for such a (supposedly) divine creator? that just so happens to spell DOG backwards.

Our 365 day calendar is based on the rising of Sirius (the DOG STAR ... constellation Canis major/minor) straight out of Egypt, the sothic calendar, ANUBIS the jackal (dog) headed Diety all ties into this mis'story of God.

Atoms are everywhere. Everything is made of atoms. Atoms must be god.

Like I stated in a previous post, with those kind of 'god definitions' you are just trying to give a higher meaning to something, and in this case it is something that is not even unknown to man.

You say that magnetism is the answer. Ok.. well, the burden of proof is on you. Please tell me that you have something more than your personal opinion and belief that magnetism is 'god'.

I have come to the conclusion that I don’t care what anyone believes as long as they don’t try to shove it down my throat. It’s a peaceful existence that way. Joe believes in god, Gerry believes in Buddha, and tom believes in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I really don’t care. Let them believe whatever they want to believe. Let them have their own choice in the matter but don’t criticize them for believing what they want to. I have a friend in California that is a scientologist. That’s the weirdest religion I ever seen but hell I still speak to him and I don’t chastise him for it. And he knows to not try to convert me over bc I wont be. His friends might try and do try when I visit him but he tells them not to.

Why care about that someone else believes? Believe what makes you happy and full. Believe what lets you move throughout the day, but don’t force it on someone else.

You are wrong. Magnetism is inside of atoms. Magnetism is smaller than atoms, thats why magnetism can pass through solid things. Without magnetism you don't have atoms.

Burden of proof? Please tell me what I have left to prove. Magnetism is in everything, without it, there is nothing. Magnetism is our God.

Do I believe in god? I prefer to call it a higher power.

One thing that us completely undeniable is the fact that religions cause so much violence in our world today; wars, killing, peoples excuses are their beliefs, and that is completely unfair to the higher power.
