Painted Simpson Angers Pagans

Well, at least Homer had the good sense to wear his skivvies.

English pagans are also upset. There are reports that some have been doing rain dances, enticing a deluge to wash the fat man away. Homer's figure is biodegradable white paint that is supposed to be able to wash away.

On the one hand, I think it's funny. Homer and a donut next to the chalk man. It tickles my sense of the ridiculous.

But on the other hand, I think advertising is getting a little out of control. The neighbors don't appreciate this from what I hear, but I bet the farmer who's land that is made a pretty pence from the deal.

I agree that advertising gets a little obnoxious at times, but let us consider the cultural icon that Homer Simpson has become and the irony that the the two juxtaposed represent.

Aside from that, it's fun, funny, and temporary.

and to think they wanted to advertise viagra next to the giant, boy the fur would be really flying if that happened (one look at the full image of the hill giant would see why)
