No earth shattering reason to post this. I just read another survey result saying Birmingham/Midland accents are the least popular of the regional
dialects in the UK.
I think this is unfair and underserved. I think the Brum accent has got a friendly sounding lilt to it, sort of reminds me of an English version of
the Northern Irish speech. Why do they keep picking on the poor Brummies.
PS there is no vested interested in operation here. I'm south-east London cockney.
