I know this thread will likely be ignored because it doesn't contain any firm factual information to debate. It wont contain anything you can prove or disprove in demonstration of your vast knowledge of all things. This thread is meant to serve a purpose and is as follows.

For years now I've been reading various articles, forum threads and posts, seen hundreds of videos and documentaries, all relating to the New World Order, Bush being a fraudulent chicken hawk, the war in Iraq being based on a profiteering lie, 911 being an inside job, the list goes on.

All I see however, is talk. Are we, the people of today so afraid to take action or stir things up all we can do is talk? It seems as though everyone feels they are doing their part by simply informing and educating the masses on what is happening, yet not many people are taking action to change anything. A million so called nuts on the web can't very effectively combat the current state we are in. Are we the people simply that unconcerned? Are we truly docile sheep too comfortable in our lives to scream out loud in unison until things are done.

I see an abundance of posts on Digg.com relating to GW being a liar and Cheney robbing the country blind. Who cares?

Do you think that if we were in France or some other country and this stuff was going on the general public wouldn't have already stormed the White House in protest by the tens of thousands?

It just seems everyone has a voice and a story but everyone speaking their mind lacks the courage of their convictions. Is it fear? Of what?

Im personally disgusted with our country. I was at an MMA fight show recently and the once pride invoking national anthem sung before the event almost brought me to tears because I'm so ashamed of our country.

Am I a terrorist simply by posting this thread of my thoughts? Will I be arrested and jailed because I'm openly discussing my discust on an open forum? How long can we allow ourselves to live in fear? When will the line be drawn with the public? How long will we stand for rigged elections and only the wealthiest most powerful elite ruling us into the ground while their pockets continue to grow? Why are there only two political parties forced down the throats of the public? When will people wise up and begin voting on the man (or woman) based on who they are AS WELL as the issues? I'm so tired of ignorant fools voting for someone based on the exact issues used specifically to get their votes such as Abortion. I have people in my own family who voted for Bush soley because of the Adoption issue and threw every other fact out the window. It truly pisses me off to the core of my being how people could be so ignorant and careless.

We just don't care. We are too busy working on trying to buy crap we dont need, exausting ourselves keeping up with the Jones's while the world around goes to hell and what do we care?

What can be done?

We can all sit around on the web talking about these things and showing eachother how smart we are but when are we going to get off of our pedestals and get our hands dirty pounding the pavement in protest or ringing political officials phones off the hook or whatever! What would it actually take to get this countries panties in a bunch. $3.50 for a gallon of gas? No problem, I'll turn the other cheek. Vice President sending us to war getting our friends and families killed to line his pockets? No problem, not my son, brother, sister, daughter...out of sight, out of mind right?

What will it actually take?

I am no different. I do nothing but bitch and complain on these forums because I have a family that depends on me and I feel powerless. What can I do aside from yell at the top of my lungs?

I'm truly frustrated with the world today and my family and I are actually pondering moving to another country. USA is simply a joke anymore and we are nothing more than pawns in a Godly game played by greedy wannabes.

But seriously, what can be done that will not ignite the country into a maelstrom of chaos from which a dictator even worse than the present one will emerge, as happened in the Russian Revolution?

If the people of this country were to protest and take back what is rightfully ours then we would be who puts someone in charge. The problem is, there are still far too many people who believe that in voting we are choosing who is in charge. Many know voting is fake and controlled.

You want an accurate voting system? Figure out a way to count all people in this country and make it mandatory to vote. The truly ignorant casting randon votes our of carelessness will do less harm and possibly outweigh the stubborn and rediculously lazy who set their hearts on someone with no real understanding of the candidate.

You are afraid of chaos? Having millions of people starving to death in the streets is chaos. Allowing our country to be stolen from us along with out tax dollars is chaotic. We may as well sell all we own, throw the money in a check to the richest person in the world, stand out on the street naked holding our ankles and hope the Dick in Dick Cheney is just short for Richard.

The world we live in right now is in Chaos. This country is about to see a major disaster in economics and financial standing. Every day I believe more and more that we are being forced into adopting a new form of currency. Our dollar is being manipulated into worthlessness.

Many people speak of a New World Order or that Freemasons are trying to develop a one world government, one world currency etc. Maybe times have changed, but if Freemasons wanted a one world government, why would Masons have given the USA its independence from Great Britain? Wouldn't that be like cutting a poisonous regenerating worm into two halves?

we lead by example..how can we live up to the dictates of the bill of rights (minus slavery part) or the constitution by constantly waring? No we dont need violent upheaval..we need a revolution of thought, innovation and a drive for freedom, through practicality, not materialism or over-production of cheap labor goods. Words are fire, or they can be water.

I live in Canada and believe me, the situation is no different. Here also, people talk and complain, but no one is willing to rise up and take action. The UK seems to be heading straight for facism and have no respect of individual rights, yet no one takes action there either.

Chavez is stirring things up in South America (not just in Venezuela). Perhaps the US and its allies need a hero. Someone who will be believable and will lead the people. People without a leader are innefective.

Compare this to any bad situation you've been into in the workplace or in school. People complain about there faith, but until one person rises and takes the lead, nobody does anything.

I think its easier to talk. Much easier. People complain about wages, but when it comes time to strike, you hear many excuses. "I have to feed my family." "My wife doesn't work so we need this money." Action requires not only energy and motivation, but like others have said, a leader. Something as simple as writing your congressmen can show results if done on a larger scale. Tell all your friends, acquantances who agree with you to write your congressmen once a week, or email. Organization is the key. A bunch of individuals doing whatever they think is right will have a very limited affect, but a group with a set agenda can accomplish wonders.

Excellent thread, I wrote something similar yesterday!

In Fance protests work because people know that when 100 people go to the streets, they can get another 1000 to join them, and so on.

One day someone who has had enough of a certain issue (regardless of what it is) says, "On this date there will be a huge protest here or there, come along, tell everyone who is interested in this subject (might pay not to have a protest on the war on Iraq), make sure they understand that it is for peaceful purposes only and tell them that the goal is to get 100,000 people (as a minimum).

You may be surprised how fast the news spreads if the message is good and how much support one can get, in less than a week.

Do you want America back? Did the US become what it is because people only talked to eachother? No, they got up out of their chairs, they organised and they took action!

Good luck people!

PS - I do not live in the US myself, but empathise with you every day.

I believe this is one of the bests threads opened.

Everything you have written is in my eyes the absolute truth. We are a bunch of sheeple (me included)

All the people have to stand together and I don't see it happening. Maybe people just hope it will pass with no real damage.

I guess when you hear if you don't do something about it you get what you deserve really does have merit.

edit to add: I gotta give you a flag on this

I am still confused as to what you are going to be protesting against. has life in America gotten that bad, that there isn‘t even enough room to breathe?? Or maybe …......just maybe, you need to get out of your mother’s basement ,go outside and have a social life.

Unknown-one, I am glad that from your point of view life is great. I believe that most people here are not just talking about their personal lives though, but life for the community/society/country as a whole.

My life is great, my social life is above average, yet I have also been preparing for this time since 1996 and have done enough homework to be able to ask someone who believes nothing is wrong if they are perhaps too focused on their own social life. And I don't even live in the US.

Having judgement on someone's character on an important topic like this, rather than trying to provide value add information to the thread is a waste of your or other persons time. Your opinion will always be valued, by me anyway, but perhaps you can do so in future in a manner not derogatory to others.

Let's stick to what can and should be done rather than continuing an era of ignorance which will cost you and your children in the short/longterm.

My wife and I have vowed not to visit the US starting this fall; as foreigners we would have to give the US governement our fingerprints...

I work at a print shop and we have a subcontract. We print children's ID kits. Kits where you fingerprint your kids and send these to a central file. We print tens of thousands of these every month and they all go directly to US schools.

Cameras are being installed everywhere. Most of them in places you can't see so that you're not even aware of them. You know those implants you put into your cat or dog? They've been developed for humans. In Italy they are used at exclusive clubs: you don't have to wait in line, just get scanned and walk right in. You don't have to carry a credit card, they scan you. The company that makes them is trying to sell them to the Bush government. The main excuse is implant your kid in case he disapears, you can find him.

The current US government is breaking down all civil liberties All in the name of security. Yet, since 9/11, there have been no attacks in the US. No one has been convicted of terrorism activities in the US. Everyone who has been arrested on these charges in the US has been released.

The goal is not to prevent attacks, but to keep track of people. There's an interesting article on Space Daily today on Cell Phones.

If I were an American I'd either protest (and get arrested) or (most likely) flee the country.

I'm an American but I've been living abroad in Thailand with my wife for 3 years. My parents are coming here this year and were expecting me to come home next year, but I'm not going anywhere near 800 FEMA camps until we squash this New World Order (Not that I'm safe here, but at least I can get nuked in tropical paradise).

As for the ways to fight the NWO and the necessity of forming groups - I don't think it's necessary to form groups with leaders and rigid objectives etc. In this day in age you can be just as effective if not moreso on your own. When you get a group together there's too much time spent discussing what to do and very little time actually changing people's minds and getting information out there. Here's what I do about 10 hours a day, 5 days a week (I work the other two days):

1) Maintain an Anti-NWO site: www.myspace.com/sheeplerevolt
2) Go through members lists and invite hundreds of people to be myspace friends and see the site/place adds in friends comments for exposure/bulletins
3) Write articles for online magazines (ex: www.mondovista.com/illuminati.html)
4) Call in radio shows, live365 and blogtalk to discuss NWO issues
5) Digg and Reddit relevant articles daily
6) Write leters and send them to everyone in Senate/Congress that accepts out of state emails (takes like 8 hours to get them all, but some of the responses are encouraging and it's certainly worth while)
7) Sign online petitions and polls
8) Burn Loose Change and Terrorstorm to CD and distribute at Khao San Rd.
9) Be vocal and give information to all friends, family, neighbors and co-workers so they can continue snowballing the info out
10) Post articles/news and debate on message boards (try www.big-boards.com)

This is pretty much all I do, but it's incredibly effective. Last week I discussed secret societies on a radio show with 6000 listeners, got a couple thousand hits on myspace, had a couple thousand article views on message boards and handed out a hundred CDs. That's just one person in one week. Then think of the ripple effect when all those affected people pass on the info. I've been fighting the infowar for a while and I'm extremely positive. We're approaching that tipping point, we're nearing the 99th monkey, and we need just one big push of activism as the OP suggested to catapult the NWO into mainstream consciousness.

Well, Well, Well - somethings never change.

Typical ATS nonsense. Another loser thread about how miserable THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS.

I BEG TO DIFFER.

THIS IS THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON THE FACE OF THE PLANET. (yes i'm yelling)

If you don't like it, pack up your crap and get the hell out!!!!!

Done.

You people talk about losing freedoms. What freedoms you've lost???

NONE.

No one is listening to you talk to your mommy & daddy. No one stops you from going to and from work/school/mall/movies/ice cream/ porno shops....gay bars or whatever else you want to do.

You complain about having to get a passport to travel to and from the country.. Big deal.. Guess what, we want to know who is coming and going in this country and if you don't want that to happen then you must be doing something wrong.

I'm tired of you people complaining about this country. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT GET OUT.

Some one posted about how protests works in france - what a joke. the only reason people get out and protest in france is because they have a 25% unemployment rate --- they have nothing better to do...!!!!

You complain about the price of gas, big deal, -- don't drive, buy a prius or some other lawn mower.

You complain about this administration...At least some one has the Nuts to stand up to these people who want to kill us...

If you don't believe it - try reading the Koran - they are taught that they have to kill all non-muslems. Its that simple. It's either us or them.

So, pack up your crap and go over to the other side and we will be glad to drop a couple of 500lb bombs on you.

ProfTom Scares me: it's because of people like him that the Bush government is able to get away with cutting personnal freedoms. Wonder what he'll think the day police go into his home in the middle of the night, arrest him and his family and question them for 48-hours straight, without a lawyer, just in case.

I'm not a terrorist; I have nothing to hide. Guess what? Last time I went to the US, they ran my passport through every single database they could find, probably because I have a very common name. Then they let me in. I don't see why they need my fingerprints above that.

As for knowing who goes in the country; do you really believe terrorists will give out there real identities when going to the US???? These security measures are not for dangerous people, they're for ordinary people.

freight tomsen: I like your post and I'll be checking out your site.

i just think its funny that everyone who comes here to say what to do is also doing nothing ha.Poeple like to talk to hear themselves, don't come give suggestions if you yourself have no plan to act on them.

The first step is getting organized into a productive group. We all think making posts or videos do something.....well it may open one or two eyes but who cares if you or them dont do anything..

just a few poeple protesting will do nothing, but huge numbers rallying everyday would force us to be recognized. How to bring this about i have no idea.I had a plan to start a website but i realized it would simply be like every other website on the issue and would not truly bring about change.

I would love to be able to leave the US and settle someplace abroad, but I cannot for the next six years. Yes, I got myself in some trouble and am on probation for six years on a first offense, my passport was taken and I cannot get one until probation is done. Hopefully I will still have an opportunity to leave then.

Yes! It was said by a former US President, that the thing that separates the US from a fallen Rome is voting. It is very good to write here, but also turn that writing to your Congressional representative. Tell him/her what you want and that you will vote for the person who gives it to you.

Discuss these issues with friends and acquaintances who don't agree with you, too. True, some will always be true believers and never change their mind, but others will eventually see what you see. If someone still believes the moon is made of cheese, you probably won't change their mind.

Take your family to your representative's office. Take your family to a protest and meet other families. Organize with other families to attend. There are groups out there; search online or ask around locally for local groups with which to take action. Hey, afterall, America was founded on those who took action.

If all you do is write your state and national reps, that is action. Oh, I refuse to argue with someone who doesn't vote, and I tell them that.

Bah! I love America, too! But I'm not willing to see it go on a drunken bender, drunk with power, drunk with greed. A country can be dysfunctional, like a family, and in need of help. Leave it?!...ha!...only a coward would leave the fight for America's soul...and neither I, nor you, are cowards!!

Ne laissez pas les bâtards vous descendre.

Hmmmm, there are some good thoughts expressed in this thread. Thanks, believerofni.

It is moronic to stay and fight for a cause which was slightly broken from from the beginning

same reason i hang around this site, because its funny to see the reactions that people make to simple little things.

Also, he is allowed to express his thoughts and opinions, just as i am.

The thing is, you calling him a sheep (indirectly) reminds me of a 15th century Witch hunt.

"What?! This person doesnt agree with me? WITCH! WITCH!"

Seriously, he likes whats happening and you cant call him a sheep because of it.

I personally dont care much, i live in Australia. its not my problem
people in these threads have told me to but out, i wont on the internet. But if America needs a helping hand, i wont.
