KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police are hoping playing cards will help them solve homicide and missing person cases.
KMBC's Bev Chapman reported that police and the Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission with be passing out 3,000 decks of cards to inmates at county and state jails and penitentiaries. Their hope is that someone will share information that could solve the crimes.
"A lot of times, we get phone calls from guys in prison that have information," Detective Marcus Regan said.
