The Coming Change?????

Right, this has gotten to the point where I feel I need to ask people specifically.

For a good while now, people here on ATS, as well as many other places on the internet have been saying that we are close to some kind of massive change regarding humanity and our planet. Whether it be the arrival of E.T.s, NWO takeover, A shift in consciousness, WWIII, Pole-reversal or whatever, It seems that many people can sense that something is about to go down.

I have my own take on what it might be, but thats irrelevent for the moment. What I want to ask people is this:

firstly,

1. Do you believe that a major change is imminent?

2. (a) If so, what will the nature of the change be?
(b) If not, why do so many others feel it is?

3. How have you formed this viewpoint? inexplicable feeling, exposure to information pertaining to a senario, current events, personal experience etc...

Please lets not use this thread to argue, I want to hear people's opinions on this and maybe give us all an insight into what may, or may not be just around the corner.

I personally think that not only wil there be a great awakening, our technological society is going to go down the drain. I personally think that twenty years from now, if you don't know how to raise and gather your own food and such, you're not going to be able to make it.

I don't know how many of you have seen the movie Children of Men, but I highly recommend it if you haven't. I think that it is a pretty accurate portrayal of the direction humanity is headed.

I have formulated many of my ideas through the research of various prophecies and just a common sensical view of what is currently taking place on our planet.

I think i feel something imminent will happen because all signs point to that. Could it be that this whole NWO thing is to make the masses so paranoid that they automatically have a feeling of doom and expentant of something looming like a dark cloud?
What better way to beat us into submission than to make us feel helpless and fearful?
Most everyone here and on the streets feel something is going to happen. Even those who dont beleive in the NWO or the end of the world as we know it, have a "knowing" that something is afoot.

If we all "feel" something and it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it must be a duck.

I fully expect "something" and i dont know what it is.

Maybe this is why we have terror alerts nearly everyday- to totally break us down and make us afraid.

Afraid of what? You name it. Anything and everything.

Its my opinion, that even those who claim they are not afraid and everything is beautiful and wonderful with this government, probably have a deep fear within them but chose to be in denial.

Something is wrong- What the hell is it?

Frankly, whatever it is we're feeling i hope happens soon and we get it over with. I cant stand this anticipation.

Yes. I believe we are in the process of a major change right now, either for better or for worse (ultimately its all for the better imho)

I can't say for sure, but i would like to think it will be a positive change, such as the impeachment of the Bush administration, revealing of some of the most obvious conspiracies like 9/11 or JFK etc, or maybe even some kind of UFO disclosure.

I think we are at a crossroads. Its obvious that Iran is on the hitlist, but will Iran actually get attacked is the question.. if it did, then i would expect things to get bad quite fast. But for some reason, i see something big happening that stops Iran from being attacked, and averting a possible WW3 scenario.

From all my research and life experience, all be it 20 years.. I can't help but feel that the illusion is going to be shattered in the near future. Maybe it is out of hope for humanity, blind faith that i want things to be OK, despite the predictions that things are going to get bad.. But even then, the predictions are coming from those who want the bad things to happen to us so they can control us even more so.

2012 was the final piece of the puzzle for me. Theres just too much there for it not to be something. Not just because of the Mayans, but because of all the other independant references to it by other people/s.. even a friend of a friend who is a junkie saw the date in one of his "trips", and he had no exposure to it beforehand.. his vision showed "blood on the streets in 2012" though..

Also, just me being here fits in the puzzle. I can't tell you why, but i just know i was born to be here for this time. The path i took to arrive where i am still astounds me sometimes.. yet i always feel i was destined to end up where i am.

To conclude, yes i do think we are on the verge of a big change. It mite get worse before it gets better, but i really do think humanity is on the final stretch before the finish line, and what a glorious finish it will be

It is very easy to control of take advantage of people in fear, take a moment and think about it.

When people are not fearful and confident can you control that person? The answer to that you already know.

Individuals are very powerful, but tend to give their power away. Fear is no different someone has to allow the fear in.

You know that's the one thing I can't say for sure. When I look at the current situation in the world I completely buy into the WW3 scenario. Yet all these Geologist's and volcanologist's, scientist's ect.. keep predicting the next big disaster ... Fault lines are due for the "BIG" one. Super volcanos such as Yellowstone are starting to show activity. "Global Warming". Drought, Disease.
I hope that what is to come is mearly a shift in counsciousness or E.T. contact. But I really don't know. Your guess is as good as mine.

I suppose all of the above. But the greater is a 'feeling'. I really don't know how to put it in words. It's like an overwhelming anticipation yet mixed with , deep sorrow. Yet sorrow I don't think is right word either. It's just something I feel in my soul. Does anybody else know what I mean

I feel there definitely is coming, but no one can be certain what exactly that is.

Contact with aliens? Well, I am under the impression they've always been here and we have always had contact. However, it has always been a minority of people. If there were to be mass sightings everywhere, the governments of the world would have a tough enough time of lieing about it.

Wormhole in space/stargate? Possible. Although again, we'll have to wait and see.

It will be an interesting ride the next few years. Hold onto your seat belt!

why? simply because of a gut feeling coupled with the vast wealth of knowledge on the net.

what? i dont know or care to speculate...because as muc as id love it to be asencion,cotact with ets,some sort of great event...it could also just as well be the biblical version of the end too...untill whatever it is if anything happens one can just live thier life.

Interesting question. I believe something is going to happen (or better is already happening). The things we do now, make the future.

The answers of what will happen are quiet different. I think that there are a number of scenarios for the future. I think these scenarios will come true based on how we act as human beings.

However I also believe that it is possible to change the future by changing our behaviour.

My most likely guess based on how we act now is that there will be major catastrophes (sorry for my spelling... i'm not native in english). Such as earthquakes, floods, volcanic eruptions etcetera.

But I also see a sunny side to it, I believe it will lead to more awareness and a higher level of concioussness.

Good day firstly to everyone here at ATS.

This is my first post and this being the topic it is i feel it would be a very good place to post my first opinions and feelings.

Ill just get stuck straight in.

I myself believe yes we are going through massive changes and many people are concious to it, even those who do not realise it yet i believe their inner concious knows, some people are just scared of what others will think and some people are just maybe too ignorant shall we say.

As to what this massive change is i cannot be certain, i believe that there will be a massive enlightenment but sadly feel that this enlightenment may not come about in the way we would all like and wish. There will be death before hand, the planet will cleanse itself of its disease, which is us sadly.
Innocent people will die but it is all in the greater good, i am still unsure of what happens to us when we die and if im honest i personally hope our soul carries on and we can live again through another entity i hope from the bottom of my heart that hell is not real as there will be very few people making it into heaven. Christians included and other religious people included.

I have come to these conclusions through many sources.
A lot of research has been the main source, typically it started with atlantis which then led me onto the mayans, aztecs, inca's and egyptians.
All of these civilizations and many more if i recall rightly have all predicted and have all suggested that around the year 2012 something BIG is going to happen.
People who say that the mayan calender just stops for no reason or maybe they didnt get any further i believe are foolish, there is too much evidence around to prove it has a greater cause and the fact that other civilizations have calenders which end around the same time proves this for myself also.

Another reason i have come to these conclusions in the amount of problems that are arising everyday in every country. Yes there has always been problems but take the weather as a prime example, England doesnt have 4 seasons any more, they are simply all merging into 1. I remember 5 years ago it was nothing like this, winter was winter, autumn was autumn and so on.
Next there is all the wars, the disputes between countries which are arousing. So many problems between religions. In all honesty human kind is destroying there selves and i personally believe the majority of people here at ATS feel the same way. Something big is bound to happen and that something big is going to affect us all, maybe it will be a bad thing for the people here and now but for who comes next it is a time for enlightenment, they will know that a world such as our own cannot work the way its intended too. Its filled with too much greed and hate, jealousy and lust, envy and dishonesty.

For the world to live in peace and harmony the world has to look to they're neighbour and be willing to do as much for the human they've never met before as they would for there own family.
We are all one entity in my eyes and until we conform as one we shall never find our 'truth' our reason for being.

My personal belief is that no human, religious or not will ever be truly content until 1. we all share and honour what we have and 2. we find our reason for being here.

For one to be truly content and happy you must know, who why and for what reasons you are here. Until our whole race can agree on the same principal or reasons for being here we shall never be truly at one with each other or the universe.

This is my conclusion and belief on the matter, i have come to it through research. The research was the starting point which then opened my mind to the possibilities of what could be and then that starting to awaken my mind to what is out there.
It opened the door for the feeling i and so many others now talk of.

This feeling is strong, and it grows stronger everyday.

I do believe we're going towards something. With all the rumors of war and climate change, and advancement in knowledge etc. The prophecy of the Bible seems to be fulfilled. The 2nd coming of Christ could be upon us. And when millions of people are up and gone, the Anti-Christ will just tell everyone the aliens did it. But infact Christ has come back for the church.

Just in case you havent noticed, the major changes have already been taking place since more than a hundred years and are continuing to take place. The industrial revolution was the first MAJOR AND DRAMATIC change in human history. Now the Information Age, Computer, Media and Internet are another MASSIVE CHANGE to our history. Seen from a broader context, these ARE the major changes. After the information age the next major shift will be a shift in Consciousness and Perception. But this will not occur suddenly but just as smooth as the industrial revolution and the information age.

As for the 2000, 2012, 2038 prophecies and countless others: The Future is not fixed in any way and can change from day to day. Even the mere act of making the prophecy can cause a prophecy to fullfill or not to fullfill. For that reason I dont trust these predictions at all. I dont care what the mayans, christians, latter day ufologists, armageddontologists say...I remained relaxed in 2000 and will be relaxed 2012.

Cause and effect:

Are we rational humans? I think so.

Can we look at the evidence of 9/11 and draw a conclusion for ourselves? I hope so.

If that conclusion leads to suspicion then one will automatically worry about what might be next.

Some are simply waiting for the next shoe to drop. And I for one don't know what it will be, or where it might happen, but I believe there will be a next time.

The soul in me was sent here because something did happen here on Earth that was not supposed to have happened.

I don't know what it was but it was bad. I am only one of many that are here to help bring in the New Beginning.

I don't really like to throw things out here that I am not absolutely sure. of but if you have experiences sometimes you get bits and pieces and it takes time to but them together.

I may be way off on this but I will put it out here just in case any of you have other pieces.

I think it may have something to do with the Polar shift. The Grey's have hugh ships under our waters that are positioned and trying to help. Volcano's will erupt and earthquakes will happen more frequently this will occur to help release the pressure within. My memory recalls approximately five volcano's erupting at the same time thank God for I do not believe Yellowstone was one. Gigantic Tsunami's one about to hit the East Coast and one about to hit the West Coast of the USA at the same time. As these peaked a large ship flew in and turned on on it's side and held the Tsunami in mid air so people could flee on both Coasts.

I don't know when this will occur but it will be before March 17, 2046

I can't say this enough plant trees in mass friends, you need these to save life here.They will keep the oxygen in the air so you can breathe and they will provide you cures for diseases and bare the fruit for your survival.

I have talked with people that are waking to knowing they are here to help, some know what they are here for other don't yet but they will.

People need to put these wars to rest and just say no more. Trees need to be planted in mass and people need to learn to grow foods in there areas.

I think what concerns me is the one experiences that I was shown a vision of two military men one older one younger (middle aged maybe) they were below ground and the older man was sitting behind a desk and the other man was standing facing him. The older man was very concerned/upset he was telling the other man if the volcano ever blew then they would be dealing with a radio active volcanic eruption.

What? Man eating lobsters. Lots of them.

When? Next month. August 15th.

How? They will herd in droves over land. They will adapt and it will be devastating.

The change? IF we play our cards right - and can figure out a way to beat them, I say get out the butter and lets have a party.

Seriously - something is up. But then again - most on this site have had a feeling something is up for the past 6 years. If any one can say that there hasn't ALREADY been a HUGE change, then they are not paying attention.

Since 911 the US has INVADED a country (practically a region), caused greater turmoil in the ME, created legislation that attacks the very foundation of the constitution and bill of rights, made enemies all over the globe and have made a real mess IMO of the US.

What I think needs to be remembered is that people are sitting around waiting for a singular GRAND event that will IMMEDIATELY put the US into a police state or something IMMEDIATELY drastic of that nature.

BIG change happens slowly. And we are in the middle of it.

I think we can all see some sort of war, or mass destruction of some kind on the horizon just by looking at current events and affairs. Terrorism is supposedly on the rise, and trigger happy Bush will surely start a lot of violence against the mid-east countries if anything were to happen in the US again.

A bit off topic here, but that is an absolutely amazing film SpeakerofTruth - easily one of my favourites. The scenario set out there is indeed quite scary, but also very realistic..

Here's my tupenny's worth:

I think that we are heading for great changes, personally, and as a collective.

At the personal level, I feel there is a frequency change occuring, and I am certain that sensitive people also feel the same, as they tend to 'feel' things quicker.

This means we shoudl be heading for an age of greater enlightenment -not for the material, but for the spiritual, where mankind will re-learn how to reconnect to his spiritual ways, trace his true origins, and to study how we can all heal, be telepathic, and clairvoyants, so that we may to take 'our seat' and be represented at the 'Council of Universal Light', which is probably made up of several bevevolent EBE races which ensure that truth is kept for eternity across the universe.

The earth is also going through her own changes, (I think its called Gaya? - not sure).

I think that as part of the personal-level changes, we are also going to have to show love and respect for each other, our families and people we encounter rather than be dis-associated to their needs, and most needs.

The other point is that this may never happen, if there really is a cruel plot against the human race, but the point I think is that we need to want the positive results.

I think we are fully capable of laying down our arms, in exchange for the freedom to be ourselves and to be able guide our future unaided as a collective voice. I would even say that another anticipated change, the NWO takedown might be beneficial to mankind, as long as those who take control, provide a fair and just global society for all.

Another change is disclosure, which I think is near. Now from my limited opinions, formed by reading articles on the net, when we first entered into an agreement with the EBE's, we had in fact made a big mistake...huge!
I think that the humans have been trying to recover ever since, but I think that society can now handle that there was an error, we hear that everyday these days, so it wouldn't realy be that much of a shock.
Also, surely if you make an agreement, and it is abused, isn't that grounds to recind your partnership and seek a more benevolent ally???

I also think currency meltdown and complete redundancy of the financial markets will happen, and maybe, the polar shift is gonna happen, after or around the 2012 date, and if it doesn't happen, then even better!

I think we all need to slow down, respect one another, have a governing body of people who are working for the world, not for their own pockets or future gains.

The more we think positively, the greater the global shift of consciousness, towards the betterment of mankind, but it starts with you. Let that be the message mankind sends going forward, not the one we seem to be directed towards.

The rise of anti-christian, anti-jew and anti-muslim sentiment smacks very loudly of a new form of anti-semitism, just redistributed more evenly to incorporate mostly, if not entirely, the three main monotheistic religions. It's so prevalent now, that it is ripe for a massive reinvention of Hitlerian type of figure. This "change", for better or worse, will not remove the religion from people, only allow some people to behave as poorly as Nazi Germany, and completely from the position that their worldview is the BEST worldview. Same bat time, same bat channel, the cause of every form of genocide on the planet, always relates back to a handful of powerful people convincing everyone else that those people over there are the problem. It's always those people over there.

I seem to be a minority of one here.......but life is going to continue to grind on the same way it has for thousands of years. I dare say that for as long as man has existed there have been predictions of dire consequences. The list of predictions of the end of the world could take up a book all on it's own.

It is undeniable that the progress of man has icreased greatly in the last 100 or so years. I just don't believe that this is something that bodes our undoing. 2012 is going to come and pass just as all the thousands of predictions of calamity have in the past.
