I protest, as of the very first line of Bush’s July 17 “Executive Order” (meaning not necessarily read or approved by Congress). I protest this “Order,” which itself is in flagrant violation of the Bill of Rights and the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States, which guarantees the right to freedom of speech, the press, and to protest, despite the fact that that right has been violated by various courts in various eras in contentious situations like the one we have today.

I protest also that the Bush “Order” sanctions its own unconstitutionality by invoking the Constitution for its enforcement in the first line: “By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America.” Remember the Constitution is the document Bush called “just a goddamned piece of paper,” as he went forth to dismiss the right of habeas corpus and fought for renewal of the illegal USAPATRIOT Act.

The outlaw protects his illegal war

Yet, in this new illegal stroke of a pen Bush outlaws all protest in the United States against his scurrilous Iraq war. And with this law, he turns all of us (US) who do not nod in bobble-doll agreement with him into “the enemy." That is, if any act [of ours], provision of funds, goods, or services by [which can he mean anything], to, or for the benefit of same threatens the ‘stabilization of Iraq,’ which can equally mean anything.

I also maintain that the ‘stabilization of Iraq’ can be best achieved by a quick and diplomatic withdrawal of all troops from that beleaguered country, whose physical, spiritual, and human toll is destabilized each additional day we remain there. Our stay encourages resistance, as does our asserting ourselves as ‘an occupying force.” What’s more, we have totally failed at replacing the infrastructure we destroyed, and we have depleted Iraq’s human resources due to death, disease, and flight.

alex jones didn't say it. it is hosted on his web site, but was written by someone else.

the truth is not a raiment of a personality. the truth is the absolute.

according to your 'argument' about alex jones(or rense, or icke, or cooper, or lear, or whomever), i can construct a parallel argument which will prove that red is not red.

BILLYBOB:
red is red
blue is blue
green is green
purple is orange

honestly, that's the truth.

DEBUNKER:
AHA!!!! purple is purple, and orange is orange. you are spreading disinfo! therefore, everything you say is a lie.

INNOCENT SHEEPLE:
i SEE! billybob is an untrustworthy disinfo spreading liar, therefore, we can CLEARLY see that RED IS NOT RED.

okay, simply put, if someone lies, and then tells the truth, it does not change the truth. if a liar speaking truth does not make the truth a lie.

Hmmm i can easily debunk your signature by the way.

PROBABILITY OF DRILL AND TERROR ATTACK COINCIDING BY CHANCE(london bombing) (10yr mean):
One chance in 3,715,592,613,265,750,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

Exactly

ONE CHANCE IN

its bad luck.

anyway, Outlawing protest is like trying to make a bill saying "people are allowed to breath"...absolutly pointless.

if you do something, people will protest (sometimes even when it is a good idea). If they protest in non violent means you can throw them in jail under this. Then they can protest more.

He's violated many constitutional rights, and I'm bewildered as to why he's not in jail.

He's violated the 1st, 4th, 6th, 7th, and 8th amendment rights.

Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act of 2006: H.R. 3930, and the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for Defense, the Global War on Terror, and Tsunami Relief, 2005: H.R. 1268.

i think he's trying to satisfy the constant demand of his readers for new knowledge. they're thirsty and he's trying to quench that thirst. not everything he reports is full in effect, but a majority of what he has to say, he backs up with sources.

Yeah dont get me wrong here guys, Im very was very gun ho and all about Alex Jones. But the fact of the matter is this. We have not been able to freely protest for about 6 years now. This is not breaking news. And is well known threwout the people who get out there, and make copies of its an inside job papers and pass them out. Then you get a visit by the cops, and they take your name, and information!
I had to backdown in my area, as no one else would stand with me, bunch of cowards most people are!! I commend you for posting this online for those to see.. I understand theres many who are just waking up now, and dont know these things. But its going to have to start with us doing something other than just talking about this. Ive been at a lose for a few months now. I stopped handing out flyers, becasue now in my area Im well known as being a "terriost" supporter! So before you go all GUN HO with Alex Jones, why not look at him and wonder why he is getting you all up in arms, is he just doing this for the money? for the fame? Or is he simply getting people up in arms so that the government knows which names to take.. IM pissed that my name is in their database.. If martial law goes down, I will be in fear of my life at this point.. Thanks Alex Jones.
And thanks to me for trying to want to speak up for other Americans..
This is the price I pay for others weakness.. And now Im tired..

yeah ive though about this too....im like you i know now the deal with whats going on around me. i understand that our times are changing extremely fast. i really dont know why i listen to alex anymore unless its just to get news updates....kinda like fox news or cnn or coming here.

they have all of our names in a database and as we all know there are people that dont even know that there is a database. i work with a girl that is in her mid twenties that has no clue that her name is in a database somewhere much less why its there. sometimes i wish i didnt know.

i use to be known at work as the weird conspiracy guy...but well liked non the less....now people see things like... bush outlaws any iraq war protest......and people are starting to get a little curious...

one of my co'workers use to really sorta let me have it with the mind games and black helicopter jokes but we found out we have something in common....Ron Paul.....i told him about Ron and he looked him up and read about him....he has now seen every youtube video and interview that Ron has had probably...he said this is the guy that is going to win...

then i told him about the medias keeping Rons name from the public eye....and told him how rush limbaugh and sean hannity (he was a big fan of those two) would not let anyone talk about Ron on their shows.....saw how Ron won all the debates but the media told a different story....saw fox news interviews with Ron Paul right after the debates and how they treated him after their own poll results came in with Ron Paul as the clear winner...sean hannity saying how this must be some kind of mistake then yelling at Ron in the interview....saw it all happen....he is blown away by the medias blackout and treatment of Ron Paul and understands the reason why. this is what opened his eyes. now hes starting to understand the bigger picture and want to know more... we can now talk about what is happening around us...his eyes and his mind are opening thanks to Ron and his message of Liberty.

now my co'worker is starting to see the police state that is fast approaching. a lost brainwashed soul that i had given up on is awake! and being there each day to see it happen is priceless. the question i have is...now what? our plan is to tell as many people about Ron Paul as we can. spreading the message of liberty and Ron Paul..the two things the nwo is trying to keep from the american people.....seems to shed light on things that people cant see...it seems to work. now...everybody at my workplace knows what is happening with Ron Paul. our family's know and thier friends...its spreading everywhere in my area just as it is all over america.

Even though I think that Bush is, at best, an over-zealous idiot and, at worst a mastermind bent on becoming the first dictator of the United States or the world (or the pawn of an organization with that goal), I don't believe this executive order can be used to target war protesters.

It specifically targets those who commit or are at great risk to commit (therein lies the main problem) an act of violence with the purpose of undermining "efforts in Iraq." As the vast majority of war protests (and all of the ones that I would support) are non-violent, protesters are not targeted by this law.

However, if I had any sort of control over a large, anti-war group, I would organize a huge protest in a high-publicity location (such as in front of the capitol building or the White House) to test whether or not outlawing war protesters was the true purpose behind the order. If it was, they would definitely make use of their newfound power and attempt to arrest everyone involved.

Have you actually read the executive order? It's on the web.

www.whitehouse.gov...

If you take a gander, you'll no doubt see that this order doesn't restrict the rights of citizens to protest at all. It is an effort to curb "acts of violence threatening the peace and stability of Iraq and undermining efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq and to provide humanitarian assistance to the Iraqi people."

any person determined by the Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Defense,

(i) to have committed, or to pose a significant risk of committing, an act or acts of violence that have the purpose or effect of:

(A) threatening the peace or stability of Iraq or the Government of Iraq; or

(B) undermining efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq or to provide humanitarian assistance to the Iraqi people;

(ii) to have materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial, material, logistical, or technical support for, or goods or services in support of, such an act or acts of violence or any person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order; or

(iii) to be owned or controlled by, or to have acted or purported to act for or on behalf of, directly or indirectly, any person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order.

(b) The prohibitions in subsection (a) of this section include, but are not limited to, (i) the making of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or services by, to, or for the benefit of any person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to this order, and (ii) the receipt of any contribution or provision of funds, goods, or services from any such person.

Now, seriously. What about any of this indicates that Bush is going to start arresting protestors? In what way does any act they might commit affect the peace and stability in Iraq?

All this act does is direct the government to stop the flow of cash, and sieze the property and assets of individuals (like suspected terrorists) and groups (like Al Quaeda and Iran) who might support and aid other terrorists inside Iraq.
