Today, i watched the British Open.
as i follow golf with several fantasy teams,

Sergio, a very good golfer, has never once won a Major golf Tourney...

include the 2007 British Open as a continuation of his ignomineous 'streak',

the man held a lead for about 56 holes of a 72 hole contest
his lead was anywhere from 1-3 strokes for most of the match...

Sergio, bless his efforts & desires, crumbled yet again...

you can get a regular sports-news report here; hosted.ap.org...

but thats not the point here...
I'm thinking, or imagining, that Sergio Garcia will astound everyone
by either declaring he will take a 6 month 'leave-of-absence' from
the PGA Tour...
or give up Pro Golf in Disgust !!

I sure hope he doesn't take a 'sucide cocktail' like those 'Heavens Gate' victims.

let's think good thoughts
in a group mind way
that has supposedly changed the course of destiny with the power of positive thinking, on people or events ...

[C2C did several of these group mind things with positive results, so its not an impossibility]

Thanks,
& no replies please,
this ain't about points

I actually think he will rebound just fine from this one, he play amazing golf troughout the entire tourney, I didn't see a collapse on his game, he could not capitalize on the opportunities given when all the other guys were collapsing around him. Check and see how many majors have been won by the guy that leads after round one.

In my opinion he would do just fine, I don't believe it was something like Mickelson struggles or nothing. Furthermore Nick Faldo made an interesting observation during the broadcast, he made the point about why since Tiger came into the picture we expect young golfer to dominate in tournaments. Golfers don't start peaking until their 30's he noted.

Sergio is young and he will be around for a while and I believe this experience for next tournaments.

I'm a Sergio Garcia fan.

He plays with heart and the does well.

He's really quite young and I think that he's being pressured just a little too much.

He's a contender and he has plenty of potential.
