I actually have. The summer of grade 6 or 7, all the guys in our class were at some party (birthday or something, I cant remember). We were playing around with the board in the basement of the house we were at. We started to hear freeky noises after a while, and a wrench fell off the hook on the wall.

It was an intense experience. Looking back though, I would say that we might have made things that were ordinary into things that were out of the ordinary. When you engage in activities like that one, you may percieve things as signs that are actually not there.

Thats only a theory. Who knows what is really going on.

I was just looking at another one of ur comments but yeah I dare say that ur mind will make a great deal out of those little noises but u hear all this folk lore stories about what happens to people when they do these boards and I wanted to know if any are true

Well, the wrench did fall off the wall, and we did hear noises. To be quite honest, I cant remeber if the pointer on the board even gave us answers to our questions. All I can remember was the noises, the wrench, and the fear. I can tell you that I was extremely scared. Thats what I meant by intense experience. Maybe I could say it was unlike anything other fear I have ever had. I was with people, which usually helps calm fear. I was nearly shaking, and very upset. I just can't tell you for sure that what happened was paranormal in nature. It did happen though.

replys to questions are often vague or "beat around the bush" type answers but Ive got a few interesting things.
One time it spelled out words to a song my mothers sister used to sing to her. My mother couldnt figure out what it was till it had spelled out a significant portion of the song...it was familiar but she didnt get it for a few minutes. Then she was surprised because she hadnt remebered it until she saw it... .....by the way,her sister is deceased. also mentioned a doll and games they played that my mother hadnt thougth of since childhood.

I always set up one room in my house(when I had teenage parties)where I had a quiet setting with a couple tables with oiujas on them.
My friends Paul and Ken and I got on one and it repeatedly told Paul to call Grandpa, with whom we often visited. It was too late to call, and he figured it was subconcious guilt over missing 2 planned visits.
The next day, he got a phonecall........grandpa died in the night, he wasnt in the best shape, but he wasnt ill either.
We asked for "signs" and a pic fell from the wall
we asked for a sign and the fone rang w noone on the line...
but considering the frequency we engaged in oiuja playing, a few coincidences are certainly likely.
Your senses and awareness are heighted due to expectation of something exciting. So you have to figure every stupid air current and water drop splash will be meaningful in this state. It is almost hypnotizing if you think about it. concentration.... focus, it is at this time you are so suseptable to stimuli, ya know

I copied and pasted this from the other Ouija post on this site so forgive me if u already read it

ITS a piece of cardboad. OK? you could make one out of pieces of paper with the letters of the alphbet, "yes" "no" and numbers cut out. spread em out on a waxed wood table use a shot glass as a pointer (it wont go over the letters just go to them). both of you put a finger on the upside down shot glas Viola! we came up with this as kids after my friends mom threw her evil oiuja away
....There is so much hype and mysticism surround this piece of cardboard, you expect some terrifying experience to happen. I WILL say Ive had them while playin, but you induce such excitement when you anticipate. You read into every sound, movement, breeze feeling, fart. YOUR awareness is HEIGHTENED, and your perception is skewed. The more you do it the faster it becomes the easier the readability. I think its a mind AND spirit connection. When I do the OUIJA with my mother, it flys around sooo quickyou would freak. Weve always played around with it. I dont worry about getting "possessed" through a piece of cardboard. If its soooo easy to get possessed, then it would happen more often. It would be more understandable that it would happen during times of spiritual weakness, times of spiritual doubt, times of temptation....all the things said to bring you closer to the dark side and "away from god". NOT when you pick up a piece of cardboard, and "play" with it. Listen, " I invokkkeee evil spppirits!" There I said it and Ive said it a thousand times. I would hold mock seances and oiuja sessions and scare the piss out of poor unsuspectin kids. I AM FINE. Done it my whoole life. Dont tell me im tempting fate or playing with fire.
A strong heart and mind will lead you in the right direction Noone can control you, if your strong. Not a person, not a spirit and not an F'ing piece of cardboard, mmkay?
OCCult is seen as a bad thing because what its really about is finding proof of the other side. Its not nice to doubt god right? Thats what they say isnt it. Well the hell with that. cause all it is, is a G A M E.

Yeah but a ouiji board would be as much of a game as JUMANJI would be
It's a game with "side effects" then!

people use oiuja because they WANT to invoke spirits and scare the # out of themselves....They usually succeed at one of these.
Eh.................... I cant say Ive ever witnessed A real demon before, but I did see some pretty big monsters in my tiolet.

I personally dont recomend it. It may seem harmless, but you're basically opening yourself up to anything. You dont know who you're talking to, in some cases, you could be inviting a demon, giving it the okay, to do whatever it wants.

I have used an ouija board many times. Its not a store bought one, but a piece of wood with the letters burned into it with a wood burner, and a shotglass as a planchet.

I have had many sessions with mine, and so far I haven't gotten possesed

Here is a good link for info on them.

Entitled "???"

I've discussed/mentioned alot of cool things that has happened, what you can do with, or how to make a ouija board. Alot of great feedback, too. Check it out!

Ouija boards are one of those things that many people dismiss as a bunch of crap, and just as many people believe that they work. I have used several, including storeboughts, the ones from occult stores, and home made ones. I've always had the best luck with home made ones, even though those are the ones people tend to dismiss the most. The object we were using as a planchett would move itsself with no one touching it. Go ahead, proceed to call me insane now. I don't think that Ouija is a game, and I definitely don't think that any moron with eleven bucks should be able to go to Wal Mart and buy a board.

A oiuja board experience is only as serious as you make it. You most likely ARE NOT going to become possessed by a demon for using it. I have seen movement with noone touching the board, I have 15 years experience in occult practices, read 100s of books and used meditation, chanting, dream therapy and self-hyp. to produce certain effects. I have taken classes in theology though I am not religious. I have a degree in math science and am very aware of the physical properties governing this world. Everything has to do with energy. As far as science goes and my experience in this area, Your energy is the main influence at work here. believe it or not . What I know from my own EXPERIENCE is this is as serious as you want to make it. You are not going to "get yourself into something", or get in "too deep" with a piece of cardboard made by Parker Brothers. I AM SORRY.

I agree with that statement completely. Most ouija board experiences have to do more with energy manipulation that with demons/evil entities. Most people blame coincidences that happen during or after the use of the board on the urban legends they've heard.

This is going to sound contradictory to my previous post.

I still maintain that ouija is not a game, and not just anyone should be doing it unless they have properly researched the history of the board and have an understanding of WHY it works rather than blaming it on the urban legend of the day. Most people have no idea about how energy manipulation should be used, or that it even exists. I can account all of my ouija experiences, as well as almost all of everyone elses on it. It all comes down to wanting something to happen so it does.

I have never used a Ouija board but was involved in cleaning up after one went wrong. It was in the late 80's and my teenage brother and his friends were staying at my grandmother's house. She had recently moved closer to my parents and still had the keys for the old place.

My brother & his friend made a board out of card and a glass and started buggering around with it. I must say that his friend was the son of a spiritualist, which made him think he knew what he was doing.

He obviously didn't, and managed to summon something particularly nasty, which resulted in the pair of them hightailing it from the place before anything else appeared.

My brother went back to my parents house and told my mother what had happened, at which point she phoned me and asked for my advice. Since there was little to be done that night, I told her that the best thing to do was to destroy the board, and proceeded to explain how to do that.

My brother returned the next day and followed my instructions. I visited later that day but all I could pick up was a slight rancid smell.

Needless to say, he hasn't played with one of those things since then.

As to what he saw, he explained the first 'visitor' as a tall, dark, shadowy shape and the second was a little old man with a nasty glare in his eye. Later on, my mother told me that the person who lived there prior to my grandmother was an old man who died in that room and was not found for a few weeks.

So that explains the smell then.
