Is this True? "moon footage"!

Ok, for starters i wanna apologise if this was already talked here somewhere.

I was seeking for moon footages, and i got this 2 links.
Anybody knows anything about this?, is this possible to be true?

Can this be one of the classical "cigar" shaped UFOS, crashed or landed on the moon? A Alien Building?, What the heck is this?

The first one is possibly a rock formation and the second one is a very very bad hoax
They have videod a piece of rock, pummice stone or something. Thats easy to see

Yes the second one looks "too odd" for some reason, please see the 3rd new footage i putted there.

I thought Apollo 20 got cancelled? Or did they launch it?

Im not sure about it, but any ways, the official "mission canceled" can be desinfo for the masses.
This days with the amount of technology we have it's so hard to easly know if something is true or false...

I believe this hoax has been 100% debunked. The images originated from Apollo 12, and were from a cross-track image swath. The video simulates a sly over ALONG the swath, and not very well.

Please do a search on abovetopsecret for "retiredafb" and while you are at it, do one on youtube as well in order to catch up. In my mind, and to my knowledge, this certainly has not been 100% debunked.

You can't exactly hide a rocket launch. When the shuttle goes up, on certain trajectories it can be seen from Europe. Here in the US it can be seen from two or three states away under the right conditions. I think someone would notice a Saturn V sitting on the pad, and launching, and get suspicious, since the only thing they used them for were capsule launches IIRC.

I actually came across this video too. I think I was searching from youtube. It looks pretty strange to me. It looks like a fake but what do I know, Ive never been to the moon.

yes it is weird indeed mates. The second one is too strange, it looks as a obvious hoax, but as i usualy say, "it looks as" it's diferent from " it is"!
But they are interesting indeed anyway.

After see the Utube results for that, i mus say that the subject is a hoax with out a doubt.
But analizyng the results on ATS, i am not so sure yet, because it looks a lot of odd questions are in the air yet.

Let's take this footage out because somebody just got around to "discovering" it again and go on and on and have the same discussion we had in the previous 10 threads on the subject. Oh, but this time I'm sure we'll come up with some brand new revelation that clarifies everything.

These kinds of endlessly redundant threads about obviously bogus, fictional nonsense should be locked after the second response. Or the first.

Please move along everybody. Let this thread and all others like it quickly slide beneath the page break and vanish into the archives, never to haunt us again.

you know, you are in fact correct, but...let me tell you just one little thing:

The way you talk is ofensive, arrogant and show no respect at all for the members of this Forum! I am not just a "somebody", as you anounced. I am a member of this place as you, and as all the others! And if i am not so well informed as you or others,about some subjects it's a pitty, but it happens! I try to be usefulll for the group bringing what it looks to me, interesting subjects. If it is not new, if it was debated already, or if it was even debunked, well, i am not a "mr. Know all about ATS", so i can make mistakes. And moust of the times i have a hard time trying to use the searching to see if the theme is here anywhere.
Moust of the times also, we get so exited to think that we had discovered something important, that we do forget to use the search.But that dosen't make us futile or lesser members then you!
It is redundant for you?, im sorry, but for me it's not!, and maybe for some others also.
Take time to think about this, because it's never too late to start learning how to deal with people in a correct way Mr.!

that last footage piece is impressive. Especially reading the text captions below gets my adrenaline rushing if any truth to the video. According to the author astronaut the ship appeared to be "billions of years old....and covered in crators"... imagine the impact this would have.

Oh, now, that's not true. I show plenty of respect for the members of this Forum who are courteous and respectful of the rest of us enough to take the time to do a little research and not toss up topics that are already floating around on a dozen other threads. It's such a little thing, but I guess you just couldn't take a few moments of your time to do that.

Have you seen any of the other videos "retiredafb" has posted? One is of supposed lunar ruins where the guy was so lazy he didn't even bother to make a clay model or anything, so there's no parallax shift when he pans across the picture. Really awful.

But, no, I don't suppose you've seen that one, because it was more important for you to bother us right away, rather than do any more research.

I'm sorry if you think I have a sharp tone. Sometimes it's hard to get the right tone across in text. Will it help if I put a smiley on it? Here...

I know everyone is just looking at the videos and expressing their opinion from what they observe. Here is an Italian web site from a fellow who is in contact with the gentleman who posted the videos. There is a transcript of their communication. With an open mind, please read the information. Plus for you on this forum Vandenberg is a remote location as opposed to KSC the military is constantly launching from there at all hours of the day and night. I live down the coast and see them ALL the time. And I'll be honest at 10 P.M. I would NOT be able to tell if a rocket was a Saturn 1 or 5, a minute man or any name or number or type. And if they launched at 3 A.M, I doubt if very many people would even see it. And if you think the American and Russian governments couldn't have pulled something like this off without anyone knowing I'll tell you you have your head up your butt. Have you heard of the Global Explorer?

The whole thing is totally laughable for obvious, common sense reasons (which astounds me how many people lack common sense)

One thing is for sure, the guy who made this is laughing his ass off at many of you right now, lol.

The vidoe of this states it was taken as a 'flyover by the CSM

OOOPs

When has a CSM ever gone that low over the lunar surface.
AFAIK its orbit is a lot higher than that.

My point was, the regardless of altitude, this "flyover" goes right down the length of the Apollo 12 image swath. Problem is Apollo 12 flew ACROSS the swath, not along it.

Also, Apollo stopped at 17. There would be no way to keep an 18, 19 and 20 a secret.
