Premiership - Police raid three clubs including Newcastle

Police have raided three clubs, Newcastle, Rangers and Portsmouth, as part of an investigation into alleged corruption in football.
FOOTBALL St James' Park Newcastle United - 0

Search warrants were served in the early hours of Monday morning although City of London Police, who are heading the investigation, did not disclose the identities of the clubs in question at that time.

Clubs raided in corruption investigation


I think this is more of a case of the Police looking for informatioin about some agents that have dealt with the clubs. In the Newcastle case it might also involve former manager Graham Souness as all the transfers in question for Newcastle took place while he was manager and the transfers actually hurt the club.

Portsmouth and Rangers I am less sure about, I support Newcastle but this might land some agents in hot water.
