The oldest still-operating gun store in Idaho, Red’s Trading Post in Twin Falls, is being targeted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), a relic from the days of Prohibition that is setting its sights on law-abiding firearms sellers, nitpicking over clerical errors to wage a war of attrition.
More troubling still is the fact that this appears to be part of an organized campaign to force gun dealers out of business across the country.

Some of the tactics being used by the BATF include nit-picking clerical errors, arbitrarily changing the rules about how gun shops organize their files & delaying court-dates to force "violators" to expend excessive amounts of money of legal fees.

It seems that if the Government can't disarm the public directly (due to the 2nd Amendment), then they'll beat around the bush & remove our ability to obtain any guns. All that will do is increase the Black Market business on guns...Just as Prohibition only made Organized Crime get more organized.

Has the NRA been alerted to this case? They are usually right on top of these cases, and they provide legal assistance. They were instrumental in getting the guns returned to NOLA owners after they had been confiscated by Nagin during post-Katrina.

I would make sure that they were notified. This seems like a case they would be interested in.

You know, if its one thing it another with this Administration. If we put together all the posts about how this Government is trying to control its citizens, a lot of people on this board who argue one point but agree with another would all see the big picture.....The NWO is in full force right now and if we don't start coming together as a Country of Free people than we are screwed.
