The Hobbit

Will this ever be made into a movie? I was thinking about how successful the LOTR trilogy was, they should make The Hobbit!

I heard just yesterday that Peter Jackson is in negotiations to get permission to make it, and it is looking quite likely that it will happen. fingers crossed.
It would be an excellent film to see and I imagine it would be a huge hit.

That would be sweet !!! The dragon Smaug will be the hit of the movie.
Do you think they will have the same actor play Bilbo? They would have to for continuity. They did show a flashback to the story of Bilbo finding the ring.
I think it would wrap up the storyline pretty well having a "prequel" movie for people to follow along with. Not everyone reads the books. I've read The Hobbit 4 or 5 times, and the LOTR trilogy once.

After all the money the LOTR Trilogy has made so far it's a pretty safe bet that The Hobbit will get made.

That was my favorite Lotr book. It'll definetaly get made.

The Hobbit Would be a great movie. i love all of the LOTR movies and would really like to see a prequel to them
