they say that brought rock samples back, but of course there is no way we can prove that.nasa could show as many pictures as they want of moon rock, but we have no way of knowing if it is!

i'm well aware of that.i find it strange though, that nasa, who are so secretive when it comes to space
would willingly share samples of moon rock so willingly.(and i'm talking about the very first samples here.)
after all,it would be very easy to hand pieces of meteorites(lunar & overs.)and say all came from the moon.....
on the other hand,i'm sure nasa tested all moon rock to death, and once they realised no real information could be gathered from them, they shared them out....

"But they aren't secretive at all. I know some people here may claim that NASA's hiding things, but I don't believe that for a minute."
are you serious? companies like nasa are secretive.infuriating as it is,they have to be!
"Samples from the Moon should be 100% lacking in water,"
i am not widely read on the subject of water in moon rocks, but all i have read so far says that a small amount of water has been found in the samples, and its believed that rock taken from the darker side of the moon would contain larger samples of water...
"Just because you may not know how to tell the difference doesn't mean a geologist can't. "
i know the difference.no need to be insulting to someone who is trying to learn!
NASA is not a company, it's a Federal agency. There is no reason for them to be secretive, nor do they have to be. They are a very open agency and they share tons of information and data. I believe they have an open sharing policy.

Uh, there's no air on the moon. Fine dust should fall FASTER on the moon.
