My only question is this: why does the New York Port Authority (or whichever municipal body built the place) spend $56m of the public's money on an expensive avant garde architect who builds a beautiful Modernist structure that they don't want anyone to look at ? Why didn't they just build a $5m concrete bunker underground ?

wouldn't someone with Photographic Memory be a threat as well?

That looks beautiful but see this whole thing is going to far, I mean, fear is something that we are not supposed to have of anything it breads paranoia, the threat here is being overblown tremendously especially something as loosely organized as Al Quaeda no matter what we are being told....I mean would someone please tell me this, do other countries have satellites?...do other countries have reasons to want to defeat us?.....do other countries already have spies here? and worse double agents?.....i think the whole photographing landmarks and bridges and whatever else is blown WAY out of proportion, i just wanna say, America please get a grip! if a terrorist is going to do something they are going to do it I think and taking it out on citizens and tourist and whoever wants to take photographs or video is ridiculous....
