Free The 8!!!

Do you think that the number 8 will be given to Dale Jr. for the 2008 season. Will Teressa Free the number 8? Post your opinions here.

Let me try to clear up so more info.

Dale Jr. has decided to leave DEI at the end of this year. He currently drives the 8 car. He's making the move to Rick Hendrick and he wants to keep the number 8. Rick Hendrick is willing to make an offer to buy the number 8 from DEI.

So, I'm asking you if you think Dale Jr. will get the number 8 for the 2008 season.

This just in, Dale Jr will NOT be able to keep Budwiser as his Sponsor for the 2008 season!!!

All I can say is that it would not be up to DEI to let Hendricks use the number 8 on the car. It is actually up to NASCAR to let them use the number because the teams don't actually own the number, they just rent them out to the teams. No, Junior will not bring the Budweiser sponsorship with him to Hendricks.
