Proof SETI-Signals JammedByGov.

I had read-heard "rumors that SETI *had intercepted, then verified likely
Alien Radio Signals, with all other Radio Telescopic Observatories around the world". For a few weeks all the radiotelescopes were ecstatically listening and logging(homing in on the signal), it seemed to come from
"nowhere,as if from a tpe of vehicle"!
then, the Pentagon called SETI, and after that call, all of a sudden *The Frequency on which that long-awaited signal came on, was "Jammed At All Radiotelescopes around the world", (wonder *who jammed that frequency")? The above link is a video from SETI, documenting, and extrapolating on the topic, and occurances I have just outlined.
It is extremely important that this info is given back to;"We The People".
I think,personally, the Gov. can't give us "Disclosure", because of their "involvement with these non-human entities", and how bad that involvement is, and has been, the "truth of its activities,would incriminate the powers that be", far more than most people can comprehend.
it is my hope that by exposing the "jamming of these SETI signals"; the
"self-incrimination, by the Gov.will become obvious".

That is a very likely scenario presented in the movie. It is however a mockumentary, not a documentary.

You beat me to it lasse. This is all made up. None of the people nor the events are real. You know the saying... Don't believe everything you see on the internet. Ask questions. Check facts.

I recall seeing google video a while back featuring Dr. Greer. In it, Dr. Greer mentions a signal had been detected by SETI. I guess this explains how they kept it quiet

not in the least admriker444, "dr" greer says that seti detected a signal, but alas as so often happens with greer it didn't pan out. there has never been, besides the WOW signal, any confirmed artificial signal recorded by seti. greer, i surmise, made up the story about a signal to keep up the hype for his "lets shine flashlights and think good thoughts at aliens" shpeel.

however i think the day is coming when the WOW signal will be repeated and mankind will learn we aren't alone, nor are we special...in the sense of being the only intelligence in the universe.

Take him on for his UFOlogy...but he is a physician, and is certainly entitled to the honorific Doctor.

I think they did receive a 7 second signal in 1976 or somewhere about then that was never really explained. Of course they havent been able to find it again.

Im not sure but I think its called the 'WOW signal'. Very interesting stuff there check it out.

my apologies, i wasn't aware any of his medical licenses were still valid, it appears his virginia medical license expires next year at the end of june, his one for north carolina having expired 7 years ago. still.....his shpeel is old and tired, i wouldn't put forth any energy into his claims untill his provides ample proof. since his whole "pay to see these 200 or so people tell you their ufo experience" bit.
i admit i was taken in by it, i was fascinated that so many people in so many government related jobs would come forth, but after i found out that you have to pay to see all the testimony and that nothing has come of his grandiose "disclosure project" since the conference i've been more than reluctance to believe anything from the snake oil salesman.

also i wouldn't honestly call him a physician as i'm doubtfull he really practices at all anymore. everything seems so much more convincing when you have the title "doctor" before your name don't ya think?

The honorific of "Dr." is given for graduation from a medical college, which is a considerable accomplishment all by itself. It does not depend on a specific medical license being valid nor does it depend on an active practice in medicine. Yes, he probably does use the term to his advantage. Dr. Greer is a physician and he is entitled to use the term regardless.

Please note that I am in no way a fan of Greer, as my posts on the subject will normally indicate and prove. In terms of his behavior and claims, I agree with you completely. But you need to give the man his due.

Anyway - nobody here attacked you that I can see. Why leap to the defensive? If someone has a valid counter point to a claim you make that doesn't equate to hatred, disrespect, etc. It seems they were discussing "Dr." Greer's credentials - not yours.

Actually, the honorific "Dr." is given upon graduation from many institutions in addition to medical college. In Greer's case, of course, he is fond of repeating that he's "...just an old country Doctor from Virginia", though I have my own reservations about how such a medical credential bestows expertise in UFOlogy et al, a posture Greer seems to relish in.

A PhD is also a "Dr.", has earned the honorific and is entitled to same. The corollary is that I'm not sure I would want a "Dr." of, say, paleontology to perform surgery on my brain any more than I trust "an old country doctor (i.e., a family practice physician) from Virginia designing, e.g., my next spaceship.

In any event, Dr. Librllabcxyz - lighten up! Take a Valium or something. We're your friends here and mean you no harm...

You mean like this one? It's almost incoherent! Whatever do you mean? The Dr. issue was about Greer, not you!

It seems you were fooled by a "mokumentary." I thank you for posting about it. I started to watch it. The event was supposed to have happened in August, 2001. The movie kept going. It was October, and no mention of 9-11. Meanwhile I'm thinking, "Why woudn't I have heard about this? Something's wrong here." So I came back here and saw lasse's post and just had to laugh at myself! They almost got me, too. I guess I kind of had a different reaction than you, huh? :-)
