Strange shape in tree knot/bark

Recently I was walking through the woods, looking around and saw an unusual formation on a tree. What made this so unusual is that it is a knot with a crack around it that made it look like an eye. The "eye" is vaugely aisian in apperance and was about a yard up the trunk. The formation is 5 inches long and 2 high. Is it a "demonic tree"??? Help!

Its probably just a strange shape in tree knot/bark...

Ive seen what you are talking many times, do you not get out much?

It may even be a scar from an axe or machette from a few years back.

It's the eye of RA! Don't go anywhere near that area again!

Some people see things out of anything.
I wonder if someone heard the tree speak and then walk out of the ground too after of couple drinks, aeh?

When a tree speaks in a forest, does it make a sound??? I don't know...I can't hear the forest for the trees.....

We have a park here near me its called Flepay park, its a site of an old indian hill here, and a burrial ground. Thats neither here or there, but the trees there are really a site to see!! I will go and take some pictures with my digital camera and show you.
I hardly think the tree is a demon tree my friend, Our minds look at clouds and see what our minds what it to be. If you look at something and your mind doesnt understand the visual of what you are seeing, the first thing your mind does it turn it into something you do understand.
So looking at a tree and seeing many faces which I know is for sure. I see tons of trees with faces and other things I have seen.. Yet this is only a human trait put to this.. Doesnt mean the tree itself is what your mind says it is.. Makes me wonder why you would see something evil? Do you like video games? Watch scary movies? Are you the type of person to tend to like evil things persay good? Like me I love skulls and evil type stuff. but I am not evil, I just like that kinda stuff becasue it looks kewl and dark.. But when it comes down to me, I am a good heart that may be a little morbid..hehe
2nd thought. Trees are elementals.. When you see a face within a tree its a good chance you are seeing the spirit side of this being.. A tree with a face is a good way to see an earth elemental.. Flowers, leafs, water flowing all make shapes and faces at one point.. You can either take it as the minds eye... Or that you are seeing the elementals in real life..
Take a picture next time, and show us.. You might find some see something different than you see... Or they may not see it at all..
personally I like to think of it as elementals... But to most I just give them the mondain reason so I dont seem to nutty..hehe

There's a tree in a graveyard near me, that if looked at from the side it looks like it has the profile of a face sticking out of the trunk! It's nothing unnatural, just very cool. It's probably the same case with your tree

Okay my friend, as promised I have some pictures for you of those trees I wanted to show you..
ITs alot like clouds, you can see alot of stuff in shapes and things your brain sees, and turns it into something you can understand a little better.
So no worries, your tree is not evil.. Its just a mind thing..
I hope this helps to better educate you about such things

I love these trees, and can stare at them for days seeing stuff out of my minds eye.. Lets see what you can see!

I did my part with the trees I have seen that while walking in the park
Pictures can give us a much better idea, becasue what you see, is something that maybe I dont see.. Everyone sees something different.
Some people see the same things.. its all in the minds eye

I really hope that you were not serious with that question. I mean a demonic tree, c'mon. LOL.

It's all in the eye of the beholder. People can see shapes in just about everything if you look hard enough and can get close enough but to think a tree may be demonic.
