He may have sold over 500,000,000 records around the world but up to know he has hit rock bottom. His last album "INVINCIBLE" sold only a couple of millon copies around the world, which I had only liked a few of the songs that were on the album, the best being "You rock my world". I'm still a fan of his work back when he was in the Jackson 5 with hits like "ABC", "Dancing machine","Blame it on the boogie". Which led to greater hits in his solo career such as "Billie jean","thriller","Bad","smooth criminal",and countless other hits. I would like to hear your take on the king of pop on whether he should retain the crown or back away from his reign and live the rest of his life in neverland. You could put down anything you want, even if it's a negative response.

In order to stay I top he must change his ways, which includes not "sleeping in bed" with children and stop doing facial surgeries which have changed his appearance drasticly over the past 20 years.

I think he is done. It's rather unfortunate to watch someone with such a brilliant mind destroy him/herself, but that is exactly what we have witnessed with Michael Jackson.

From what I understand the guy is in pretty bad shape. I think we have heard all we are going to hear from him.

Personally, I cannot imagine any situation or event that could possibly take place that would, somehow, revive Micheal Jackson's career -- certainly not one that would return him to his former heights.

Nevertheless, I keep in mind that Micheal Jackson still has a host of fans -- especially in Asia (i.e. Japanese fans). Somehow, he has managed to retain quite a following as evidenced by the large crowds of "fans" that showed up at his trial. With these fans in mind, Micheal could, possibly, stage some sort of come-back and gain a modest level of success.

Micheal Jackson, in my opinion, has an image problem that has been damaged beyond all repair. In my mind, it is inconceivable that he could ever return to his former status or, for that matter, any sort of level of celebrity aside from being a curiosity or a headline in a tabloid magazine.

Still......stranger things have happened.

Well he lives in Las Vegas now, and apparently he's going to have a show here. Just like all the Washed up acts of this world, they all come to Vegas as a last resort.

Yeah you are right about that Random Thought, but with the money he'll make from doing a show in Vegas would get him out of his massives debts so he could change his expensive habbits.I would like to hear your opinion on whether he did do what he did to those poor little kids or if you think it was all a scam to take his wealth.

I really don't know. I wish they would have shown live coverage of the trial =(. I still love his music and will listen to it. All I know is, if he did do it, shame on him, if not, shame on the kids and/or kids parents. I will admit one thing, he is F'ing weird.

Yeah man I know what you're talking about, if he reallt did what he did, but I'm 50/50 on the trial. The case could have been bought off or there was a lack of evidence or was probably shreded by the law enforcement with some hush money.Nobody really knows what happened only Michael Jackson, and what was wierd to me was the secret staircase they had found which leads to some "child's fantasy" room with tons of plush toys and his glitter fulled outfits from the 80's,and also what's the deal with "jesus juice" ? Anyway thanks for the post .

most geniuses are "f'ing weird". it is not to their blame. and i do not condemn the man for appreciating the beauty of youth....we all have our exacerbated desires, do we not?

the ONLY thing that could bring him back is his own talent. if he would release another "off the wall", nobody would care about his strangeness.

Yeah tgidkp, I myself am a little looney being a cartoonist, it's just how an artist acts from time to time and an multi-talented artist such as Michael Jackson takes it to the max.He could have no nose for all I care it's the music that he produces is what makes an artist besides their looks, maybe it works with female singers, but in my mind he will forever be the "King of Pop" for all the songs he has done and all the kids he inspired to dream big and anything can become reality.I never had been able to see him in person, but if I did I would thank him for all he had contributed to music over his 30 plus years in the buisness.

I'm still amazed by the moonwalk he does which looks so easy to do for him but is really a pain in the behind for us to do.This guy has to be an alien , the only way he'll make a comeback is if he makes up another cool move , maye the handwalk or something that'll bring him the attention he needs to regain his status as the king of pop.

if i had to guess i would think no! for comeback,

You're right about that agent violet, whoever gets the rights to his stuff or his music would be a made man.I wonder what's gonna happen to that neverland ranch of his , would it be open to the public as some sort of museum site or it'll be demolished and put into something else.

i'm thinking he will get rid of the ranch before he dies, but if not, i would think that the ranch itself would be destroyed/ parts of it go into the rock and roll hall of fame sort of thing
i definately dont think that it will become another grace-land sorta place.
but who knows?

Yeah agent violet , but if Elvis had his ups and downs I think Jacko would be praised after his death and anything involvin' those child molestation charges would be thrown out the window (doesn't it sound simillar to what he almost did to blanket ). He will be remembered as the man of a million faces and as the King of Pop, whether he hasen't done as well recently.Who knows what might occur when he releases his supposed "comeback album", would he turn black or would he get caught doin' something to another kid or would he pull it off, only God knows.

I'm a huge MJ fan. I think he's already made a comeback with the recent Thriller video craze. But, Musically? Music is dead anyway and the type of Big budget, long videos thing doesn't work anymore. The biggest current pop acts will sell 5-8 million records. So a comeback will be not on the same commercial level as before. The music business is different. Can he still move above average units? Sure. But the most important question is whether he can perform live. He hasn't toured the US in eighteen years. Hasn't has a major tour in Ten. On that tour he didn't sing live as opposed to the prior tours and quite frankly the tour (History) was horrible. The MSG performance in 2001 was also mediocre , save for his performance wit his brothers.

Based on that, MJ should tour with his brothers, they will be a major draw, the base and old r&b heads will love, plus there is novelty in seeing legendary acts over Kelly Clarkson. That's the only way he can make a real comeback. I'm sure the next album, if it's ever released will be better than Invincible. Will I Am is a better producer than Rodney Jerkins, and even Will's horrible songs have a catchy "ring tonish" type sound.

What do think of these vids I made?

Thanks for those vids Amelie, I was an even greater fan of his older work when he was with his brothers on J5.Your right about the music industry bein' different now in all ways(the music now is mostly rap and pop), the only way MJ can get his act back is by gettin' into the "urban demographic" again and just make great love songs and create new dance moves. The two songs I love the most are "Dancin' Machine" and "Blame it on the Boogie", since you've posted some vids I'll post up one, thanks for the post and I'd like to her more from you.
