Is Pakistan Being Forced into Martial Law??

After looking into the armed clashes between the security forces and the ultra-radical mullahs operating out of the Lal Masjid in Islamabad, i came across this article that seems to point at Pakistan being led into severe strife , enough for Martial Law to be declared. Is this being caused to create more unrest in a continous destabalation campaign, or is it people vying for control of the Country for the difficult times ahead?

The operation against the Lal Masjid is therefore being seen as part of a sinister plot to create disturbed conditions across the country and then use these disturbances to justify the imposition of a state of emergency, or worse, martial law. At the very least, they say, the crisis created by the action against the religious zealots of the Lal Masjid will lead to a postponement of the general election and maybe even the president's election.

It's a military dictatorship...

Military dictatorship or not, God help us all if the government of Pervez Musharraf is overthrown. Of course the current government is not an ideal government, and the IS is still riddled with pro-Taliban and pro-Al Qaida agents, but the alternative is far worse. Imagine the Hell that will break loose if radical Islamofascists get their hands on Pakistan's nukes! I only hope that the rumors of the US military guarding and securing Pakistan's arsenal is true.

On the other hand, maybe our government wants the Pakistani government overthrown. Maybe our government wants Islamic radicals to get their hands on the nukes and detonate them in a western nation or specifically here in the US. It would give our government and military the blank check that they quite possibly hoped for after 9/11, to reign hell on our enemies.
