Excellent thread! KO scored a KO on this one!

I'd like to thank Mr. Bush for this move. It may have been just the ticket to push people over the edge... Impeachment is a common word in the news this "holiday" season.

Yes, I can still hope!

Time to Impeach

Last Straw: I'm on Board to Impeach

Impeach the President. Vote out Congress.

Independence Day 2007: 'Declare peace, impeach Bush, Cheney and Rice'

While sending this video to your mailing lists, please don't forget to remind people to write or call their Congress and demand Impeachment.
We are... "We, the people"

If Paris Hilton sucked it up and did her time, So should Libby!!! Yesterday, was a bit of sad 4th of July when criminals in this country get to go free and don't have to pay the price because of this administration. This country needs to be outraged, but hell they can't even look past the Paris Hilton story to wake up and see how bad of shape this country is in. Sad, Sad, Sad...

At another thread that talks about an illegal alien holding a protest against her arrest (by claiming sanctuary in Church), I wrote an exchange of replies
Right after that, TheBorg said that he was going to start researching the legal technicalities about this...
the perfectly-legal option of "Citizens' Arrest" has either not been brought to the media's attention...Or this option has been actively suppressed by the media.

Very interesting but i have a feeling that if you or us in the UK tried the citizen arrest we would end up in jail-or cuba!

In fact over here in Blighty someone tried to attempt a citizen's arrest on Zimbabwe's president. All that he got was a beating by his paid thugs
news.bbc.co.uk...

I am sure if I tried this on Blair or Cambell I would be be bundled to the floor and wake up in paddington police station with my shoe laces and belt missing.

The only way to do it right is to use numbers, hundreds of thousands marching(or millions) to the white house(or camp david).Against many united, the police and army would have no choice but to let the citizens arrest these criminals.

Mind you Cheney would have BlackWater protection that obeys the money

No it doesn't ... I can sum it up and save everyone 10 minutes of their lives.

Olbermann is, again, pushing his left wing agenda .. the one he recently adapted due to sagging ratings in order to gain an audience. Guess he found one.

There ... I saved ya'll 10 minutes. Now you can go use those 10 minutes for something more constructive.

And you are, again, pushing your right wing agenda.

Please don't listen to FF and watch this, and get pissed off. Everyone should be pissed off at this president.

what i find Ironic is that Cheney will be impeached first.

the BAE scandal is causing heads to turn, and cheney may be honorably discharded after he gets his pace maker fixed this summer per medical reasons,

but i would focus on the world wide credit collapse that is threatening per the hedge fund fraud exposed and its collateral damage which the ppt is trying to hold back but can't much longer

I cannot believe in this day and age that people still buy into political party allegiance and unswerving nationalism.

I may not be an American, but I've seen your global reputation go down the crapper with Bush Jr. I look back on the Iraq situation and honestly cannot believe what happened/is happening there.

My own country (Canada) got sucked into the Afghanistan vortex and I ask for what?! WTF is Afghanistan gonna do to us? What could Iraq even really do to the U.S.A.?? Oh yeah...THOSE weapons of mass destruction...laughable excuse to invade for a regime change.

Bush has made you all look bad in the world's eyes. Bush even makes us look bad.

God bless America, but fer cripes sake...elect a more honourable candidate next go around.

It doesn't matter if he resigns or gets impeached. The stage has already been set up and it does not matter who win's the next election. Bush and his kronnies have set the future up for the NWO. Unless we pull every Western influence out of the Middle East it's only going to get worse.

Samblak, I think you may be right. In fact, I tend to think you are. However, to let this administration get away with what they've done sends a clear message to those who are next in line that it's easy to get away with criminal activity as long as you're sitting in the white house.

Impeachment would 1) Punish the offenders based on the legal system of the US and 2) tell whomever is next in line that we won't just roll over if they start doing the same thing.

This thing can be turned around, but it's not going to be by letting them do whatever they want without repercussion.

Hey man, that's easier said than done. If the ballot only has certain names, which have been pre-determined of course, then what the hell are we supposed to do? Add on top of that electronic voting machines that don't even give you a freakin' paper copy of your vote, then you only have the illusion of a democratic electoral process. Tell me, what the hell are we supposed to do?!?!?!? I can't help it that a majority of my country's citizens are being led around on a leash.

Peace

Agreed...but you know, unless Cheney was making a go of it, you'll undoubtedly be better off via the addition through subtraction route vis a vis Bush.

A couple of things that I think could possibly happen before next election:

1. Bin Laden is found/declared dead about 3-4 months before Bush leaves office. This'll help gloss over the last two terms of general misery and assist in Bush's outgoing PR image which otherwise would see him at sub-Nixon respectability levels.

2. War with Iran started. It goes quite poorly and Bush seeks an emergency war-time third term to "lead" the nation through the affair. U.S. "invites" Israeli participation in this one and the logical conclusion to the "War on Terror" (those sound bites are almost vomit inducing) comes to pass.

Yep, this is another crisis that originally started when the Federal Reserve Act was signed into action. If Congress had not unconstitutionally "transfered" their Power to "coin money & determine the value thereof" in the first place, financial crisis like this wouldn't be happening.

Amen, northern brother! The big problem is finding someone who actually deserves to work in government. I've been an active voter for nearly 30 years & have found no reason to vote other than "No Conficence." However, I think Ron Paul deserves a shot at the White House (If he can manage to cut through the opposing BS & get to the Primaries): His political history shows a straight-forward, pro-Constitution career thus far & looks like the first time I'd actually vote for a person rather than a phrase.

If your district only wants to use "paperless" voting, you still have an alternative: Absentee Ballot! Just request one & you don't even have to provide an excuse for asking! Just make sure you get it filled out & sent back in plenty of time before election day. You know, if all districts that want to use the paperless machines for voting saw everybody requesting Absentee Ballots, then maybe "they" will get the message, "Screw the machine! We want our votes to be counted!"

BTW, Vinadetta: Have you heard about A March on Washington DC thread?...Never mind, judging by your avatar, you've "been there, done that."

Well, first for ratings...

As already been stated many liberals watch orally for humor. The same reason they listen to Rush "The Pill" Limbaugh. Its funny to ehar someone say "The reason the boy didn't run away was because he liked being brutally raped for years" then know they are supposed to speak at a abused and missing childrens foundation dinner.

Second, Orally has the same people who are less educated then people who watch The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. That's right, a fake news show informs and educates better then Fox Noise. Of course TDS doesn't get a memo from the White House everyday telling them what to report and how to report it like Fox Noise does.

Second, the speech/special comment. FF, I've learned not to listen/read your posts because you would say that Bush41 and Reagan were Gods for having a child sex ring ran out of their White House so nothing this President does can be considered bad.
(Child Sex Ring Info)
First the Newspaper of the Washington Times in June 29th 1989
s58.photobucket.com...
s58.photobucket.com...

Then the documentary made by BBC and Discovery on it. Don't worry the scenes of Republican congressmen, cabinet members, and Lobbyists raping children were cut out so its not considered child porn.(The reason the documentary wasn't allowed to air in America even though it aired in England) www.franklincase.org...

So really, a pardon of a crony won't get an impeachment when a child sex ring got GOP voters sending their little kids to the White House to be raped.

The absolute disregard for anything coming from the Bush administration has me thinking that maybe this is a planned agenda.
Get Bush out and Cheney can be top dog for the last 18 months.
I know a lot of you feel that Cheney is on the chopping block as well, maybe from the opposing parties(which have yet to really take a stand on anything!!!) but I think he is very well supported within his own party. However Bush seems to be the escape goat for someone or something from within his party, these people arent stupid, they know the reaction Bush will get from all of this blatant "In your face America" actions.
Someone in his group is directing and advising the Pres, someone who has either something to hide or an agenda or both and that person (or group) has to be pretty freaking powerful to get Bush to trash his name and rep and to get Bush Sr. to look the other way.

A few things about O'reilly's ratings, and the biasness of Fox News. Tell me if it all makes sense now.

1: A vice presidential order to have all his televisions tuned to Fox News.

Cheney does like his suite at a comfy 68 degrees. And, of course, all the televisions need to be preset to the Fox News Channel (what, you thought he was a Lifetime devotee?).

With a photocopy of his "order."

Link to above info.

2: Fox News's self lie about being fair and balanced, which fuels the republicans argument about Fox being fair and balanced.

The Most Biased Name in News

Some excerpts:

"If it hadn't been for Fox, I don't know what I'd have done for the news," Trent Lott gushed after the Florida election recount (Washington Post, 2/5/01).

In fact, wrapping itself in slogans like "Fair and balanced" and "We report, you decide," Fox argues precisely the opposite: Far from being a biased network, Fox argues, it is the only unbiased network. So far, Fox's strategy of aggressive denial has worked surprisingly well; faced with its unblinking refusal to admit any conservative tilt at all, some commentators have simply acquiesced to the network's own self-assessment.

The most obvious sign of Fox's slant is its heavily right-leaning punditry. Each episode of Special Report with Brit Hume, for example, features a three-person panel of pundits who chat about the day's political news at the end of the show.

Read it, its an interesting article.

3: Tony Snow being Bush's new Press Secretary

Bush Considering Replacing McClellan With Fox News Anchor Tony Snow

4: An arguement with McClellan about Fox News

"My question would be, is there a White House policy that all government TVs have to be tuned to Fox?" VandeHei asked.

White House scribe asks for the remote

5: My Own Take

How many county offices do you walk into that they are showing Fox News on. I used to be in the military, and Fox News is everywhere, in the cafeterias, administration buildings, lobbies, in the command front offices, everywhere. With that much publicity, how can Fox News not have the highest ratings! Their job is to motivate the republicans into war by fear mongering and pretending everything is going great over there, and it does it well. Look around, doctors offices, dentist offices, etc. Take a tally.

And don't forget all the liberals who laugh so hard milk(Soy milk) shoots out of their nose when they hear a guy go on about how little kids like being raped(Billo) so its ok for GOP Party Leader Bobby Stumbo to rape his friends 5 year old son then says gays are evil.

Kind of like how Howard Stern has such high ratings from all the people who listen so they can be offended and sue.

what we need is a double resignation, because if we simply get bush too resign then we have cheney on our hands, hence the double resignation, if not triple

Anyone notice that when Conservatives argue their point they don't actually mention facts they just call everyone "liberals" and slander them?

Let me take a few posts for example:

Wow great input. So glad it was on Olbermann and not the topic. Strawman anyone?

If a tree falls in the woods, and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

What a pathetic attempt at ratings. Who is this guy to call for the resignation of President Bush? If you translate viewers to approval ratings, Bush is doing alot better than Olbermann.

Maybe Olbermann should consider resignation?

See my above statement. Yeah, how crazy for a news reporter to try to hold a politician accountable. No one is allowed to discredit Bush - except of course Jon Stewart and the Daily Show.

Olbermann is a loser, who only wishes he had O'Reilly's ratings.

Good point sir. Maybe if Olbermann interupted his guests and told them to shut up 3 times an interview like O'Reilly he'd have a boost in ratings? But again, what does that have to do with what Olbermann is saying?" Any actual input or though process?

Olberman does shill for Democrats, this is a fact. The only issue I have with that ass chewing is he creates some imagery that the Republican party is the only party capable of such a thing.

It's not.

...This is getting repetitive.
