Secret Document: U.S. Fears Terror 'Spectacular' Planned

While I will always be prepared for the "next big thing" be it natural disaster or terrorist attack, I'm no longer interested in these so called leaks of terror threats. Right now the majority is focused and concerned about the threat and hints of Al Qaeda threats rather than more pressing issues like the fact that US dollar is back near multi year lows against the Euro and British Pound, or that the "Troop Surge" is failing, or that we're giving up one of tools against real threats, the loss and failure to replace the Quikscat satellite that helps with hurricane forecasting.

We live in fear of the possibilities of yet to come but never deal with the real problems that affect us already.

Now that being said... This summer and early fall is very critical to If and How the war on terror will play out. Further incidents could cause the WOT to expand into new fronts such as Iran perhaps causing certain players such as Venezuela and Russia to really choose sides.

all in all, quite interesting times we live in.

I dont know what they have up their sleeve, but you can bet when it happens, there will still be people claiming it was Al Q., and i wont beleive it for one minute.

But we must remember that you dont go around for years putting the fear of God to all countries without some sort of reciprocation. Its just natural if they didnt want to harm us before, THEY DO NOW.

BTW, last week, there was a call for Scuba Diver shops to keep an eye on people wanting lessons, or anyone scuba diving off our shores

As much as i would like to say that this "newest" threat will be inflicted by our own government, i think about the prophecies i've read over and over where it states that the Russians, Chinese, and others will be landing on our shores and attacking us.

Regardless, who's fault is it? This government for meddling all over the world.

I really dont think there will be another president- that's my gut feeling. Furthermore, i dont think Bush will be around either much longer, i think he'll be impeached and tossed out on his ear along with his goons. But it will be too late. There is no escaping this. I think the US will be reduced to rubble, imo.

How sad, that because of the tyranny of one (two) men, the world has to be in such dissaray.

The world has always been messed up, the world has always had its share of terrorists, dictators, etc, but what Dubya has done is stirr the whole world into a frenzy. And he loves it.
The man doesnt lose any sleep at all. He's happy as hell we're going from bad to worse. How sinister.

All this talk of 7/7/7 makes me wonder what city would be hit on that day. Only thing i can think of is to stay away from Las Vegas on 7/7/7. But then again would they really want to scare away all the gamblers and stop making money... i doubt it.

I've read so many false alarms and incorrect predictions of coming atrocities on this site, that I now tend to ignore threads like these when they come along (evey couple of months or so). Everyone was sure something was going to happen last summer, the summer before, Christmas, 9/11 aniversary etc etc...and nothing happened. If you believed some of the members of this site we should be at war with Iran right now, cowering in our bath tubs as we speak.

I'm going to make a prediction: This "spectacular" terrorist attack will not happen this summer. I think the recent events in the UK are as bad as it's going to get for a while. There'll almost certainly be some sort of terrorist attack in the US sooner or later but I bet it comes when we least expect it, not preceeded by leaked documents and sensationalist, fear-mongering fanfare.

The source is NBC, so beleive it or not.

Its a good source and i'm just the messenger. Its not a made up story.

So make your own mind up as to what you beleive. Its up to each individual.

We will be right here on July 5th and nothing will have happened on the 4th.

Security will be tight, people will be on guard.


These people prefer unsuspecting victims, gives them a much better chance of succeeding.

There is no point in guessing when these fascists will go for another power grab, it will happen when it happens. 7/7/7 is a nice significant number and if I was planning the attack for Cheney I would choose that day and in NYC again as many YouTube stars will be there with their cameras. I would have a few on the payroll to spread the story and help convert lies into facts. Once they upload their videos I would then ensure they died in a secondary attack, everyone loves a sad ending.

The only way to manipulate and control people is to keep them in fear, keep them on their toes, tense and worried. First it was the Nazis, then the Communists, now its the terrorists. Enemies are set up to keep people preoccupied and submissive. Enemies are focussed on more and attacked. Counterattacks follow. Its the same lame game since thousands of years.

And its sad to see how many people, also right here on ATS, still fall for it, still believe the hype. At least half of all posts at ATS predict doom and gloom.

For someone like me, who has been aware of conspiracy-theory since 15 years and is still alive and well and leads a happy life, it cant be taken too seriously.

FACT is that 95% of the people and 95% of the planet are usually in PEACE at ALL TIMES. Its only the idiot news media, governments, religigious fanatics and paranoids who exclusively focus on the terror and blow it up to be something of huge importance.

Honestly I'm more afraid of the government saying "something is planned", than the terrorists themselves. And I have to fly on the 6th, and I'll be in the air when 7/7/07 strikes...

For what its worth, and its not much, I dont believe non of the crap put out by the U.S. or England on terrorist.

In my opinion 911 was committed or at least knowledge of the event or manipulation of it was done with government involvment.

This recent terror scare in England is to galvanize the people to the new prime minister.

I have come to the conclusion that the terror plots are in some way controlled by the governments of the U.S and England.

I have no belief in the government either protecting me or even telling the truth of the events.

I still like to read the posts here, but in my opinon the terror is a inside job done by the U.S. government, or at least a few elites in it.

That worries me with all the off shore oil rigs near the gulf (I live on the gulf coast)

While this is probably the millionth post about the end of the world on this site, let us look at this with some perspective.

This thread virtually draws together all of the major topics regarding the war on terror and I feel like much can be learned by seeing what happens.

On the one hand you have those that firmly believe the 911 attacks were the doings of (in some shape or form) the US and associated governments as a power grab of sorts to redirect the constitution and create some new form of government (NWO, NeCons etc...) by leveraging the fear of the people to attain unprecedented presidential power.

For those that fall into this category, now is the time to watch because IF this is the case then the Bush administration is cornered (low poll numbers, GOP dissent, failing war abroad, etc.) and something BIG is required to happen to make all of this power that they have worked for to come to fruition. Otherwise, it might be safe to assume that the US government had VERY little to do with 911.

Now I am not suggesting that if something DOES happen while Bush is in power it is clear proof that 911 was the result of the US government, but it certainly would be telling to see where the next attack might bring the US in terms of foreign wars and constitutional rights within.

On the other hand, for those who believe that this is truly a battle against radical fundamentalists, and that these radicals are responsible exclusively for the current terror situation, then the next few months will be revealing as well. Now that everyone is paying attention to what happens as a result of threats or attacks, intentions will be more clear in terms of the reasoning behind the attacks or threats.

Either way. Something has to give.

Everybody seems to think that the gov't will be behind an attack, if one happens tomorrow.

But I think you're overlooking someone here. We all know that there is a large group of people who want to see the US fall. The quickest way for them to do that is to pin the blame for everything on the president and his administration.

For want of a better name, let's call this group the libchucks.

Well, I think that it's the libchucks that will be behind it. The libchucks and the America-haters.

It would do their cause much good to pull off an attack and then manufacture evidence to make it seem that the gov't is responsible.

Think about it - it would make them appear to be geniuses. They could control the media leaks (they already do), any missing or manufactured evidence, etc. Perfect control of the grand opera that will be played out.

So there ya go. If anything happens, now you know where to start looking for the guilty party.

Great observation jsobecky. People often forget that disinformation is a two way street.

It is often difficult to uncover the truth from fiction and it is even more difficult to separate your own biases from the information being presented too you.

Not all libs are tree-hugging hippies. Only the nice ones. But there are many, like George Soros, who want to see the US destroyed. And if that means pulling off an attack and blaming the admin, then so be it.

They've already wasted 7 years by refusing to work together. Always with the negative comments, never offering a better solution.
