I live in Las Vegas and recently I have been witnessing ESA tests every week. A couple years ago, maybe even 1 year ago they were monthly tests, which
are normal. What's your thoughts on these weekly ESA tests? Are they testing them more frequently to get ready for something that they are expecting?
OR are they testing it more frequently in case something unexpected happens?
If you're talking about what I think you're talking about - the testing of the Emergency Alert System on television and radio - you may want to
re-title your thread to "Excessive EAS's" for more responses so everybody is on the same page.
To answer your question, down in these parts we've had them at least once a week since I can remember, no increase in recent times. It's annoying
too because they always come between 2 and 3am and mess up my dvr-ing of a show I watch that comes on at 2 .
