N Korea fires short-range missile: report

www.khaleejtimes.com

SEOUL - North Korea appeared to have test-fired a short-range missile into the Sea of Japan on Wednesday as part of a routine military exercise, Yonhap news agency said.

The reported test came at a sensitive time as UN inspectors were to visit the reactor at the centre of North Korea’s nuclear programme in their first on-site inspection in nearly five years.

I guess its about that time of year again..
In fact, my first thread ever, was about the
N. Korea missile test last year, 6-17-06

More cries for attention? Doesn't seem
like much of a missile test. Last year it
was big news, how will this play out?

USA fires short range missiles probably every week, it ain't big news... As long as you keep the tests inside your territory/international waters...

If a Mod could fix my link or post, it would be
mucho appreciated. I don't know how it ended
up like that.. Same thing with my other news entry.

The U.S. is deeply worried apparently, calling
it a provacative action, or so CNN reports.

Last year when this happened, the U.S. was up
in arms, threatening with counter-measures, but Kim
went and launched more, and we did nothing, now
a year later he's up to his antics again...

Apparently the negotiations haven't worked.
Kim seems deadbent on arousing some sort
of conflict. Testing the waters? Distraction?

Any other comments or questions?
