Apollo 8 Earth pic

This picture intrests me. I have read, though not much, about how NASA and the Gov. had faked the Moon Launch and did the entire thing in a studio. Though i use to lean towards it was legit and real, i might be leaning towards the other one. But anyways, this photo intrigues me because it might substansiate the Faked Apollo theory. I was looking on Wikipedia about the Earth, and here comes a pic of the Moon. I clicked on it and saw that it had a zoom option. Cool! A zoom on a high-res pic of the Earth from the moon! Then i looked at the Earth and said, somethings not right lol. To me personally it looks like the Earth is painted or something. it just doesnt have the right depth to me. And the bottom of the Earth is almost directly on the edge of the moon at top. What also struck me is that it might also be a giant sized globe positioned behind the moon structure of the studio and was just pictured at the right angle to give that impression. it was really suspiciuous looking to me, and thought i might want to share it to ppl on ATS, to whomever cares lol.

I agree with you jarhead. The cloud formations appear to be very extreme. Some of these storms look thousands of miles long, and the left edge of the planet looks to be completely covered by clouds.

Man this is such a stupid topic. In those days there was no sophisticated photo fakery. Photo shop never existed in the sixties.

Stupid topic or not, do you beilive in that the Apollo program was legit? I am not asking for an argument, lol, i just wana know both sides of the story better. I always thought that if we had the tech back then to actually LAUNCH humans out to space, i think we would be able to get to the moon. But then things like this staged moon landing was knocking on my head, asking for a thought to that side of the argument. So whatever, just tell me what your stance is on it, if you may

Actually, you are quite wrong.

They just had to manually edit the photos back then.

We didn't have the same level of sophistication in computers, but that doesn't mean there weren't advanced photo editing techniques.

Besides, it has been mentioned before that our government and military is over 50 years ahead technology wise (verus the general public).

Nikola Tesla's inventions are still held under tight wraps, among many other inventors. Great minds of the 20th century's inventions never saw the light of day past the US patent office.

Our government still holds thousands of inventions that could help our modern day society. Who knows how many they have actually developed to suit their nefarious deeds.
