Thats the CGI "Representation of what the witness saw". Look familiar? Yes.

Wow this is even more clearly a CG render. Just look at the nuts, or bolt heads or whatever they are. They are just too fake. What are they supposed to look like? Man made nuts and bolts? Can you tell if that is metric or standard? Why would they use this type of fastener on a high tech object like this huh?

Come on guys, this is getting rediculous, he is showing renders straight from software with no backgrounds and you are still not agreeing this is CG, damn thats rediculous.

Yea, I'd like you to take note of the 'feel' & quality of the lighting/rendering..is it not almost IDENTICAL to the Isaac object.

Note the completely white background + floor base?? Impossible with photography!

Yep. If you'd like to achieve the same effect, Im gonna post the tutorial on how its done, in Maya & mental Ray renderer. Which is clearly what isaac/chad used. Down to the letter.

clearly it doesnt, the way the symbols are placed are all wrong... they dont fit correctly to the curves of the material ... one look at that Image was all I needed
I dont jump around yelling hoax until I see some proper proof
but im not jumpinh around saying its real either

im not wrong, I clearly only read the desciption and I stated what the desc. said... and that video was posted earlier in the week.
People can and do make CGIs of cars too... does it mean the car isnt real?

Don't you think that CGI Render is EXTREMELY CLOSE to the ""Real Photos"". Way too close for any amateur modeler. The reason they are so similar is because they are the same exact model rendered in two different locations. Still photos (1 keyframe) with no background (white).. Still Photos (1 keyframe) with backgrounds of sky's and moving it in different positions... Motion capture is a complete CGI Render animation, as they already stated.

Anyway, Im done for today. And if this thing is a hoax, I wont feel bad or anything because I never said I believed it, but if it isnt a hoax, I wont feel bad either because I never said it was... unlike you people.

clearly it does. In fact the way its lit/rendered is almost identical. Look at the reflection on both the Isaac object and what I posted, very very verrry similar..in fact it is, because its using the same algorithm to generate it i.e. Mental Ray (Alias Maya) or is it just co-incidence..yea..right..pffft

I would never feel bad for taking my opinion on any subject. Thats what separates me from the sheep.

So heres the question now. Given the video that describes all of the different posters / callers to coast to coast... were they all part of the hoax?

Three hypothesis

1. Isaac is not connected to them, but took advantage of the situation. In this case, Isaac could be a plant to cast doubt by the eventual debunking of this as CG, mixed with saladfingers CG Video. He wouldnt have to be though.

2. All of the postings are part of a larger conspiratorial hoax. This seems to be the most plausible to me, as each of the postings have a similar tone to my mind. I know that's entirely subjective, but it informs my belief.

This has been a wonderful and enlightening journey today. My hats off to Isaac, and to all on this list who have not only kept the faith in their perceptions, but mostly to those who brought the world of CG and its "feel" into our sphere of education.

I never said you would feel bad, I just said you jumped the gun and yelled hoax, and i dont think thats fair.. but thats my opinion.

and the lighting/reflections on that thing look almost opposite to what they should be (note i said almost, so dont fire on me) as opposed to the Isaac ones

Uhm... that's two hypothosis. heh

note that the isaiaac photos are rendered using a white atmosphere causing extreme white reflections. Unlike the CGI render, whom is still reflecting "atmosphere" in the render however its motion capture and not just plain white.
