I thought this would make for an interesting discussion.

This writer ascertains that many alleged UFO landing sites and even crop circle formations are nothing more than a)hoaxes, b)chemical imbalances or c) fungus infections.

He has apparently investigated a few cases so as to add authority to his conclusions. In fact, he states that certain fungus infections can produce many of the anomolous effects seen in some landscape rings in the past.

Curiously,
the Powdery mildew caused by the fungus
Erysiphe and the Damping-off of seedlings
by Pythium produces a white powder or
filaments which covers the entire blade of
the grass, which remind me of the ‘Angel’s
hairs’. These hairs are cobwebs or filaments
which sublimate in a few seconds have
fallen from the sky and are associated with
UFOs.

I know this is going to be shot down by most of ATS, but it does beg to be discussed openly and professionally. He certainly offers some compelling theories.

Read his report here.
