Gotta a question for you astronomers etc lol forgive my ignorance.

I live in NC and like only 100 miles inland and if the world where to end by a planet X , comet, or meteor i dont rellay wanna die in a tidal wave.

I was just wondering if somethinfg was gonna hit the earth wouldnt we see it a week or so in advance giving me enuff tiime to head for the mountains? OR would it just hit out of the blue? lol
