Transformers

Hi,
How do I call that category of transformer which was united by several small robots?
Does these big transformers will show in new movie coming?

I think the ones that united and turned into one big machine were the 'Go-Bots' but theres like at least 30 generations and incarnations of 'Transformers' anyway so i wouldn't take my word as 100% cause i'm not too sure.

I'm so looking forward to this movie they've even got some of the old voice actors from the old tv shows to voice them. I can't wait to see starscream in action as well

Damn i must of been smoking crack i don't know where the go-bots came from lol yeah Outrider is totally right the mini-cons all they do is partner up with the bigger robots anyway i think...I know the toys could link together into a big one though meh Transformers is so confusing sometimes for such a simple concept about transforming robots lol.

Ow no, What I mean not are Japanese Transformers, I'd like to know the name of those big one combined with 5 or 6 small parts.
This one was called Devastator.

So all of combined one was called BotCon?

There are a few groups of transformers that can collectively form a larger more powerful machine, this class of transformers are called combiners.

Constructicons combine into Devastator.

Combaticons combine into Bruticus.

Superion is a combination of Air Raid, Fireflight, Silverbolt, Skydive and Slingshot.

They are called Gestalts

Each group was called different

Devastator was made by the constructicons (decepticons)

The Aerialbots formed Superion (autobots)

Bruticus was formed by the Combaticons (decepticons)

Defensor by the Protectobots (autobots)

Menasor formed by the Stunticons (decepticons)

Predaking formed by the Predacons (decepticons)
