The aclu supporting a religion!.
"The ACLU says it has nothing to do with religion."
Oh,sorry.
Muslims are required to wash body parts, including feet, up to five times daily before prayers.
"The ACLU says it has nothing to do with religion."
Is this the same ACLU that tries to stop Christmas every year?
Kary Moss, director of the Detroit branch of the ACLU:“We view it as an attempt to deal with a problem, not an attempt to make it easier for Muslims to pray,”
She likened it to paying for added police during religious events with huge turnouts. What??

Virginia Constitution’s provision that bans religious organizations from incorporating.Like everything else some are good and some are bad.

um... the ACLU will defend ANY religion that it sees is being given improper treatment under the law... so long as that sect doesn't violate the law (like polygamy)

The ACLU certainly has defended many churches in the past yet christians by and large still despise them. The problem for these christians is that the ACLU defends everyone's constitutional rights and christians don't like that. Another problem is that christians typically see insult, injury and discrimination against themselves where there isn't any and needless to say, the ACLU will not take up such cases.
