How do I connect my Nintendo Wii to the internet?

I just got a wii and im trying to access the internet with it. I bought a wifi connecter for wii. It confirmed my connection but im still getting error codes.

error code: 52140

Go to Nintendo. They'll have more info on that matter than ATS will.

You may need to add the wii to the access list through your routers software, you can find the mac address for your eii in the wii options section. If you have security on your network you'll also need to add the access code in the connection settings section. You shouldn't need to connect anything to the wii as it is wireless enabled anyway. hope that helped.

I've been to nintendo support but i still cant get it working. i thought i might ask someone that had the same problem.
