Yes, I do. It's called fear of the unknown, and pack mentality.

You remember MacArthurs Speach about UFO's a few years later? Right? He said:

"The nations of the world will have to unite, for
the next war will be an interplanetary war. The
nations of the earth must someday make a
common front against attack by people from
other planets."
General Douglas MacArthur- Oct. 8, 1955

Do you find it strange that this was said?

I sure do. Because it wasn't said.

Please read This

Also, if I'm not mistaken /ex tags require a source link on ATS.

As for where this thread is going, it really seems to me to be two posters
boosting each others ego.

Just the way it looks to me.

This case has been discussed time and time again, not only here but on
nearly every UFO site on the web.

On the other hand, if ya'll discover any new and credible evidence (wait,
you're "discovering" ALL your "evidence" on the web) by all means
alert the ATS staff. I'm sure they'll make it front page news.

Lex

Your personal life doesn't interest me.

Investigation into an event does.

Since there is no investigation, I feel it's safe to say this is done.

You know, the craft looks a little bit like the RFZ-2 Round Aircraft made in 1934/37 (year is being debated), except that the top of the RFZ-2 is square and not bell-shaped. I agree, this subject needs to be on everybody's top-priority list, since we cannot simply ignore it.

(sigh)

Ok, the RFZ series of UFO's....I don't read German...but,

Auch dies ist ein Billy Meier-UFO. Meier besitzt auch eine eigene Website, wo die meisten seiner Bilder zu finden sind. Schauen Sie da mal vorbei.

I know the name Billy Meier. Hoaxer extraordinaire.

From Here

Sometimes, it's almost too easy.

Here is the story here where it shows it in the L.A Times and other information reguarding it.

billy meier was born in 1937 so for him to be involved with hoaxing the nazi ufos he wouldve had to have started the moment he was born....anyway all i want to know if it wasnt a ufo what can take that much flak.....if the nazi ufos are real then i geuss this couldve been a test flight of one....either that or they used to coat weather balloons with diamonds....if it was swamp gas the shells wouldve dispersed it the shelling went on for an hour and a half though so if it was a plane or anything conventional theres no way it couldve stayed in the air because thats why anti aircraft flak was made was to destroy aircraft

Ah yes...the infamous Rense site.

Otherwise known as the National Inquirer of the internet.

Rates right up there with Pravda.

Nice find.

Hey, wasn't me that brought up the RFZ's.

anyway all i want to know if it wasnt a ufo what can take that much flak.....

To answer your question, nothing. Nothing was there. Someone saw
something, or THOUGHT they saw something, hit the alarm and
away they went. Shelling the night sky.

Fear does strange things to the minds of people. After Pear Harbor,
the military was tense and nervous. Very susceptible to emotions.

Why did nothing ever come from this ?

Because there was nothing there. Just young, scared military men.

Ever read The National Enquirer ?

Rense will post ANYTHING. No research into the article or information.

They (he) just posts it, and presents it as fact.

This is counter-productive to true journalism and research.

It is kind of counter productive to just dismiss it also.

This site continues to amaze me, every time I leave here thinking i've read about all the major events such as this, however as soon as I come back I find something new i've never even heard of but is purely enthralling! Big thanks to everyone on this thread, have thoroughly enjoyed reading this! The only interest I really have in life is wondering what we don't know and the bigger picture, this site is the best around!

What do you mean it's nothing? I thought you said it was a weather balloon?

Please be so kind as to point out where I said it was a weather ballon.

I quoted a link that was given by one of the believers as "proof".

That persons link said that, not me. I was merely pointing out the fact
that straws were being reached for, and a link got posted in haste,
before it was read and understood.

Lex
