Simple enough:
Where do you stand on Aliens and UFOs being Alien craft?
Yay or nay?

I haven't been coming here too long, but it seems that there's an awful lot of "skeptics" here... Personally, if I didin't believe ETs are real and UFOs are their craft, I wouldn't be spending time on a "Aliens/UFO" forum..

After looking up UFOs on Google video and watching over 24 full length documentaries and video taped press conferences, its amazing how much information is out there regarding the subject.

Someone said on Digg.com about an article that was posted; "There is more physical evidence of extraterrestrial life than of any God." I felt it was a fairly ignorant gesture but a startling one at that. I have no doubts.

It's the only hypothesis that fits all of the data. I have no doubt a small percentage of UFOs sightings are intelligent otherworldly visitors.

Since there's absolutely no proof of aliens of any kind, it wouldn't be very good reasoning to try to explain one mystery with a hypothetical. Because of the continuing lack of undeniable proof, at the moment I tend to suspect that the "explanation" for the truly mysterious UFOs is a lot more complicated than little aliens flying in from outer space.

Is that a skeptical attitude?

well, I'd just wonder why anyone would spend time on a UFO/Alien message board if they didn't think there was something to it...
I don't believe in the lochness monster or leprechauns, and I don't go to leprechaun or loch ness monster forums... I'd find that to be a waste of my time...

oh well..

How about this - I don't believe UFOs have anything to do with extraterrestrials. But I don't KNOW. I come to the UFO forum because I believe SOMETHING is going on. I just don't know what it is.

I believe there is probably extraterrestrial life. I believe it's highly possible some of it is sentient, intelligent, and possibly technologically advanced. I don't believe any extraterrestrial intelligent life has visited Earth.

Waste of time? Maybe. I prefer to think of it as feeding a lifelong fascination for a topic that's very much still up in the air (no pun intended).

I guess you didn't actually read what I wrote, did you? I do think there's "something to it." But whether that something is aliens has yet to be proven by a long shot. To reiterate, I personally feel that the notion of aliens from space flying to us in their flying saucers is too simple a probable explanation. Why? Because once you actually do some research into the field, you are almost immediately confronted with a lot of interesting data that for lack of a better term is just plain "weird," and doesn't even come close to fitting into the standard aliens from space theory. A lot of people tend to ignore this data, I think because they would prefer the easier explanation. People like to think that there's nothing they encounter that they can't wrap their minds around and understand, given enough data. But with UFOs, you'll encounter just the opposite. The more data you have, the fewer pieces fit.

So I suppose I like to look at the UFO forums just to see how far out things can get, and hopefully encourage other people to take a better look at the phenomenon and get past that creaky notion that Little Grey Men from Zeta Reticuli are visiting us in flying saucers.

If that could be proven, great. But it still wouldn't account for what's going on in a very large other layer of reports. So I guess in a way, I'm calling your question about aliens and alien UFOs ridiculously simplistic and naive, and something with which I can't honestly say that I concur.

I guess it's time to think in terms of defining a skeptic, yet again.

To be skeptical is not, necessarily, to be denying anything. It is simply that the current vogue explanations leave much to be desired either in depth, complexity, or simply, coverage of all the facts. Skeptic is not a bad word, so why don't you let us skeptics feel free to cruise the ufo alien threads, and occasionally ask questions to either add or detract from our knowledge?

As has already been said, the answer that dictates aliens from a different planet does not cover all the various incidents in scope. It might if the aliens are so different and based on a totally different physical state.... If that's the case then yes .... However, there has been no evidence one way or the other than something is up there, something is active and it has all of us in the ufo community questioning and searching.

edited to correct some errant finger motions.

I wouldn't have bothered commenting on your post if I hadn't read it.
You say there's a lot of strangeness behind the UFO enigma? Strange to who? Humans here on Earth that "obviously" know everything about everything?

There's a lot of weird **** out there, and we haven't come close to understanding the way the Universe works... Hell, we don't even have conclusive answers to questions about our own history...

I heard a Radio program when I was a t work - And I was amazed how little the radio host knew about the subject ufo's..

They only talked about signals from space and that was not a good one.

But it was a main-stream radio - No real information came out about anything happend this year ect..

I was ready to call in on the radio station - If they would allow listeners to call in - Cuz that Radio host was a retard.

i believe 100% of video clips or pictures are fake or natural occurrences.
There is no strong evidence for even UFO's let alone aliens.
I watched a documentary last night about a gentleman who claimed to have stayed with Billy Myers numerous times.

What a load of Sh*t.

The guy contradicted himself and his story a dozen times in less than 30 mins.

Sorry but the UFO scene is mostly full of complete nut jobs or exploiters.
