Paleontologists discovered a new species of small, winged reptiles in 220 million year old sediments of a quarry on the Virginia / North Carolina Border. The creatures were about the size of a Blue Jay from head to tail. Scientists named the creature "Mecistotrachelos apeoros" which means, "soring, long-necked". Pretty neat looking little guys...

we just keep finding more and more critters every single day... hope we turn up something that's identifiably something that we've already labelled a cryptid
