Would a hangar door on the Moon serve the same purpose as a hangar door at an Earth airport?
If they were hangar doors, what would they be door into? The side of the crater?
Most hangar doors exist so a ship of some kind can be moved out to or in from a runway or something like that. Where's the runway?
Don't you think it would make more sense to have the hangar doors on the outside wall of the crater, rather than opening toward the other inside wall of the crater?
Lastly, I have to wonder why an alien spacecraft would need a hangar in the first place. To change their engine oil? And it's not like they have to protect their ships from rain or snow. Solar flares, maybe. But I would like to think the aliens had better technology, so they wouldn't have to hide their ships from such storms.
But hey, I could be wrong. Hangars. I guess.

If they happen to have found something interesting, we'd all miss out.

ah Hah! Zorgon, I thought you'd forgotten. I see you're a man of your word. Very interesting find. Can you give an idea where this is in the full pic? I can't find it.
Edit: Nevermind, I think I remember that's from elsewhere. Cool pic though.
