Ok, I would really like to hear everyones take on this. Wouldn't it just be much easier to study a human toddler? Maybe I am missing something.

A group of scientists in Japan have developed a humanoid that acts like a toddler to better understand child development.

"Our goal is to study human recognition development such as how the child learns a language, recognizes objects and learns to communicate with his father and mother," he said.

That makes perfect sence.

Now all the people who don't really want children but have them anyway for some strange reason and then treat them as if they don't really exist can have a little robot child and then when it starts getting on their nerves or they have to do some more work and can't be bothered to give the child any time. They can put the little fella back in his box...

WTF?

I don't think that the known level of robotics is anywhere near the level needed to replicate an infant childs learning and understanding ability.

IA scares me!! Don't these idiots watch the movies.
